    Oops I've sinned already

Went somewhere new for a shopping trip this morning and they have a huge boots. Found philosophy granny's apple pie which I've been wanting since before Xmas but couldn't find anywhere in my town or online. And I got a benefit skin care minis set I've been listing after these for a while and this set lets me try them out without having to purchase full size. I also bought a lip salve and 3 x magnetic nail polishes from the £ shop.

UU 1. Dove go fresh deo spray. WMBA - don't really use spray ons but like it now and again I have others in the stash though

    2. Lush the snowman bath fizzer - WNBA wasn't impressed with this, didn't do anything other than smell calming
No more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 8

I was quite pleased with myself on Saturday: despite a No7 voucher burning a hole in my pocket, and despite popping into MrB, I came away empty handed... progress indeed :T
Well done Sundaysgirl. I must admit I was feeling rather smug on Saturday too as I had 6 of the No7 vouchers in my handbag and didn't spend any of them! :o I did hang around the No7 stand for a bit to see if there was anybody who might want one, but to no avail.

I must admit it did still pain me slightly when I recycled them this morning. Previously I would nearly always spend these vouchers just because I felt like I was throwing money away otherwise. In truth though, I was wasting money by buying things I didn't need just so I could use the voucher.
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

I don't really have a big stash of stationery. I do however have random assorted collections including lots of candles, magazines, books, bags and fruit teas. :o

I hope you feel better soon dolly84, dose yourself up with some echinacea and vitamin C. :)

Val the smashbox palette does look lovely.

Dolly hope you feel better soon. Wine wakes me up in the early hours too plus gives me a headache. I still enjoy drinking it though :rotfl:

I have random assorted collections too - particularly candles and magazines. I am trying to work my way through the candles and the magazines though. I threw out loads of magazines when I last moved. Some of them were years old and had never been read  I don't buy magazines anymore either, unless there is a great freebie. I used to spend a fortune on them.

I also have a candle 'habit', although I think I am pretty much cured. I don't actually burn them very often. I have had 2 mice infestations (and have a serious rodent phobia ). The last time the pest control man came out he advised me not to use fruit scented anti-bac wipes or liquids as mice 'like' the smell. That has stuck in my mind and I therefore don't buy fruit ones, although I no doubt still have some in my stash.

I have a Yankee Candle coffee one but not sure if I want my room to smell of coffee. :undecided

I did used to have quite a lot of fruit teas but very rarely used them. I have one packet in the cupboard at the moment. Might even make myself a cuppa now.

I have a thing about Yankee Candles too. Maybe we should set up a new thread !! I shouldn't need any more for a while though as I'm still burning Festive scents at the moment and have 2½ large candles plus a bagful of tarts ready to burn when these have gone. Used to find myself getting excited about the new fragrances but am definitely not buying now until all these have been burnt.

Please say I'm not the only person who likes to keep the dinky mini bottles and empty posh bottles so I can fill them with something else.....! :embarasse

I have some really gorgeous bottles from a set of Benefit skincare miniatures that I've kept, because they were just far too nice to chuck in the recycling, and I'll probably use them again when I go on holiday.

Plus it's money saving as it means you're not buying the little plastic bottles to put stuff in when you go away or you want to decant something...

I accrued 3 of these vouchers. Gave 2 away and even though I kept one in my purse and could have visited Boots yesterday did not cave and buy anything.

Otherwise at the Trafford Centre (and as predicted) I got:-

    From L'Occitane:-
3 x handcreams (FB freebie). Nice but very small!
Full size foot cream (15% off)
Samples of eye roll on, matte fluid, body milk and shampoo.

    From Selfridges:-
    YSL Babydoll mascara in brown

    From JL:-
MrM bought my birthday present (Decleor Herbal Clay Mask) which I can't consider an IN until my birthday however was given a sample of their moisturiser (something Floral) to try.

At least I didn't buy anything else though I was tempted in JL when I saw the MoltenBrown sets of 4 hand washes for £18.00. It was only when MrM moaned about them that I didn't bother.

    Afternoon beauty queens

I have a few UU's to report and a couple of INs too...

UU #24: Rituals Yogi Flow Foaming Shower Gel 200ml; WDBA, HG shower product. I have one more in my stash, and also have a shower paste from the same range which I haven't tried before so I will eeny-meeny-miny-mo between them later and put one by the bath.

UU #25: Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream 50ml; WBA, I have loved using this and I am sad to see it go. I am far too poor to replace it at the mo, though, and I have a good few other moisturisers stashed for the time being.

UU #26: Aldi Family Shower Gel 300ml; WMBA, DH uses this and so do DS1 and DS2, so it disappears at quite a rate. Replaced with a Radox for Men 1l bottle with a pump which I am hoping will minimise the mess.

IN #1: Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara; HG, my current one is starting to splutter a bit and as previously stated, it's too wet for me when new. I'll open this one now and start using it in a few weeks. It was on offer in Sainsburys for £5 :money:

IN #2: Sinless Sun Body Scrub 250ml; Feel vindicated iin buying this as the only other scrub I have is the Rituals one and it's in use, AND it was in the Superdrug clearance for 60p! This was the only thing I bought which was a miracle in itself as I was in there for almost an hour with DD swatching foundations for her. In the end, she didn't buy any

A friend of mine is having a really crappy time of it so I picked up a few bits for her; Lush Bubble Bar, a chocolate face mask pack, some Rituals Magic Touch body cream, a Baby Lips, a Revlon Chroma Chameleon nail polish, a Hotel Chocolat tiddly pot and a miniature of Jack Daniels ;) I'll pop it in the post to her later, I'm hoping it will put a smile on her face.

I have a few more splutterers in the works, hoping to have more to report as the month goes on.

VALM - everyone should take a man shopping with them, we would come home with much less stuff :D

Fizzwhizz - that's a nice thing to do for your friend.

I have a UU from last night; TBS passion fruit body butter, WBA but need to get my stash down first, I have about 20 butters/lotions to replace it from for now.

I have listed a few things on The Bay of E that I'll never use, might as well get a bit of cash for them whilst reducing my stash even further. No INS so far :)

    Happy pampering everyone!
    Never say never
  • Another Yankee Candle addict here too! :)

One use up for me today - Beauticology Strawberry Swirl Shower Creme. WNBA. Barely any scent unless you more or less snort the stuff! It doesn't foam up well at all. The bad news is I have about four bottles of shower creme, a couple of body scrubs and some body lotions from the same range to plough through. :(
