    A small In to confess,

Boots tooth paste, but it was on offer any way plus points booth was offering 10% off toothpaste so only 84p and the only one i have at home is presently 1/2 used up so i suspect current one will be or very nearly be an out by the end of the month.

Managed to survive a sniff and escape in both Lush, and Bodyshop, although very very tempted by the Moringa shower gel to match the body butter i was bought at Xmas.

Also nipped into my local L'occtraine who appear to be out of FB samples, did have a quick sample of the hand cream tester before i left mind you.

    Happy Bubbles
  • Getting scared I might not be able to stick to no toiletries as my concealer and deodorant are both running out! I only buy cheaply ones of both so probably isn't that much of a disaster. Might be able to get away with no concealer if I don't have an outbreak but not going without deodorant! :P

UU last of a VO5 conditioner so can start on another one :)

If you're running out and have no replacements stashed, I wouldn't consider these "unnecessary" so breathe easy :) your challenge is to get in and out of Boots without being tempted by any other bargains!

    Good luck ;)

A friend of mine is having a really crappy time of it so I picked up a few bits for her; Lush Bubble Bar, a chocolate face mask pack, some Rituals Magic Touch body cream, a Baby Lips, a Revlon Chroma Chameleon nail polish, a Hotel Chocolat tiddly pot and a miniature of Jack Daniels ;) I'll pop it in the post to her later, I'm hoping it will put a smile on her face.
What a lovely thought FizzWhizz. I'm sure your friend will really appreciate it. :)

By all means use the challenge in whatever way works for you, but you don't have to go without things you have actually run out of (particularly deodorant!!). :rotfl: Most of us simply use the challenge to try and reduce our toiletry spend and use up the stocks of what we already have rather than buying unnecessary new items. Good luck! :D

thought youd all gone very quiet and stopped buying, i forgot a new thread started at the beginning of each month.

got a couple of uu's to report
nivea double effects deodorant spray - still got loads in stash so dont need to buy more yet.
body shop chocolate shower gel stuff - it was a gift
cotton wool pad jar was empty so i took some more out of the bag in the stash to refill it - plenty left in stash

    on my feb PP list
the 900ml tresseme 2 in 1 shampoo conditioner is almost empty (but theres another identical one in the stash)
a tube of face serum ive seem to have been using forever is starting to splutter
a small tube of eye serum - see above
sachet of face mask - ill use that next then go back to the tube
bottle of obsession perfume ive been using it for a couple of years but i think im going to wear it every day now till its gone as ive got loads of other much nicer perfumes in the stash that i want to be wearing.

  • One UU/TA: No. 17 Doll'd Up mascara . Nice, good quality , it's beginning to clump so I think it's time to bin it. WIBA? The problem is that when you receive vouchers to buy products you are reluctant to pay full price. It's normally £6 and I paid £2 for it so would only buy again with a voucher.

Ins: MUA lash extender mascara as a replacement.

Another Yankee Candle addict here too! :)

One use up for me today - Beauticology Strawberry Swirl Shower Creme. WNBA. Barely any scent unless you more or less snort the stuff! It doesn't foam up well at all. The bad news is I have about four bottles of shower creme, a couple of body scrubs and some body lotions from the same range to plough through. :(

Oh no, I have an entire giftset (8 products) from this brand! At least if it has no scent I can put it to one side for the boyfriend to use when visiting and he can't complain about smelling girly! Thanks for the heads up on that.

VALM - everyone should take a man shopping with them, we would come home with much less stuff :D

The irony is though that we've recently been arguing a lot with me claiming he does not listen enough. Sadly he was listening when I was complaining about the Molten Brown shower gel I used recently and thought was awful. He stood in JL and quoted practically word for word how I had claimed their products were overhyped and full of cheap ingredients. Remind me not to say anything like that again, ladies. x

Had bobbed on to catch up with thread. No UUs today but the last two items on my PP list will be gone shortly. Reckon I will be able to cut open the L'occitane scrub tomorrow and finish it off then. The NSPA BB cream though had loads left in it when I cut it open this morning. Sadly can't repurpose this product so will probably last to the end of the week.

Am going now. Am planning on repainting my finger and toe nails. On my fingers I'm gonna go for Nails Inc Motcomb Street and OPI Alkatraz Rocks and on my toes OPI My Address is Hollywood. Am gonna catch up on The Following too. I remember another forumite was watching this but can't remember who.
