Oh I was going to come on here later and ask how you'd done. That's fab, especially for your first comp, and spirit awards are much prized. I know in DD's last squad they were always after the spirit award more than anything else!!

We've got another three weeks before we head off so afew more practice sessions to go. Their stunt group isn't going too well so I gather, but DD's not in that, she's tumbling in front, but the same thing happened before the last comp and they pulled it together and hit everything on the day so fingers crossed the same thing happens again. I'll be back to update after the comp.

Just thought I'd come and update - comp was on the weekend and although we had a fun time, it didn't go so well on the floor for DD's squad and they came 8th and 5th in their respective divisions. But it's Nationals and they were big divisions and the competition was pretty stiff, scary stuff!! The really big squads like Unity and Ascension Eagles were brilliant and it was well worth the trip just to see Unity Black doing their level six routine, absolutely awesome stuff.

DD was in her element eyeing up all the different uniforms, and bows, especially as her squad are getting new ones for next season.

Plenty of work to be done now though to get ready for the next comp in eight weeks time!

Hope you got the news off to the local paper about your competitions - good pictures will help push recruitment via facebook etc...
