Visitors visiting a secure government building containing sensitive data about tens of millions of members of the public, so yes; they surrender their phones.:cool:I am Doll Parts

Really sorry to disappoint you, transient, but I was just today given a letter promoting me with a substantial salary increase. So I guess the directors here don't agree with you either.0

Where I am based we can have mobiles and use them. However, people only use them sparingly- don't spend all day on them. Clearly firms for various reasons have differing policies. If a person's work is effected by the use of a mobile then clearly this should be addressed. For agency staff having a mobile is important as they will often need to know when their next assignment is.
I would be more concerned about the varnish application mentioned than the mobile- takes seconds to text and can be done along side other work. Varnish takes far longer to dry!Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0 -

Oh that is very clear. Maybe you could also use the payrise to replace the 13k you were easily conned out of.0

I don't intend to have a keyboard battle with someone like you on here. If you have nothing better to do than go over my post history then be my guest - I'm not actually interested enough in you to do the same to you.
