Jeez you couldn't make some of this stuff up.
They say they have been paid by the proprietor (bang goes GPEOL).

They say that the Government restricts trespass claims to £100. They (ANPR) can't sue for trespass (only the landowner).

Quote 'The Arbitrator must understand that the PCN folds in the middle before being placed in the pouch which is clear and see through'. !!!!!! is all that about?

Quote 'The defendant who is the registered keeper................ has now become responsible for the drivers (sic) actions'. !!!!!! - as above.

This is a joke, but not funny. Complaint to the BPA and DVLA needed.

So they applied for registered keeper details incurring an extra £40 in costs? So how did a charge of £2.50 from the dvla magically increase by this trumped up figure?

I have never heard of trespass being limited to £100, is this another fantasy ? And the rest of the letter is just the long winded and extremely boring Trevor Whitehouse spouting the usual garbage! He's just just a joke like his company

Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Well then now you have the confirmation from all the above - they are fake as KIFL originally told you.

Like the bit also " the signs were created following consultation with Martin Cutts of the Speaking plain english PLC" - he'd have a fit with that sentence alone!

And please edit the parking charge number from those photos - thankyou!

Surely Martin Cutts didn't converse with Trev the Clamp - they don't even speak the same language?!

  • Don't forget Trev the Clamp puts forward the case that by looking at the signage they are devalued!

He's wasted in the parking industry - should go into comedy!

Complaints made to Advertising Standards Authority

The inventor of the much-hated London wheel clamp has shut down a website which advertised a automatic numberplate recognition system which he'd claimed was capable of spotting tax dodgers, disabled people and terrorists.

More details will be available tomorrow when the ASA publishes its weekly report.
