I am considering getting an iPhone. I have currently got a Galaxy Mini (groan..its awful!) on Android.
Would you recommend an iPhone? What can I do on an iPhone that I cant do on my Android? Any other great things about the iPhone?

Which 'mini'? Why is it 'awful'?
What do you want/need to do with iPhone that you want, but cannot do with your phone?
That said, all Galaxy Mini are much worse that the corresponding Galaxy and are in an absolutely different price bracket than Galaxy/iPhone.0 -

There is nothing special about an iPhone. Take your iPhone sized budget and spend it on a top of the range android. The moto x or nexus 5 are worth a look. I would avoid the Samsungs but that's just my opinion.0

iOS is a different operating system from Android so I would have a play with an iphone to see if you actually like it.
I prefer the UI of an iphone but hate itunes with a passion, however I haven't found an android phone that suits my needs as well as my old iphone.
Yet.
You may find that there is no reason for you to move from android.0 -
I was a die hard iphone fan till I got a Nexus 5 - things like samsung s4 and HTC one never really appealed but the nexus just seems more "ergonomic" somehow with a rubberised surface.0

I'm a massive iPhone fan but have just updated to iOS 7 and have to say it is awful. Looks like a three year old went mental with a packet of crayons and I personally find it clunky and overall a massive down great from iOS 6.
I had a nexus 4 for a week and for me personally it was far far too big. And I found android a lot less initiative than iOS. But honestly don't get the BS about android being more open etc. there wasn't a thing I could do with the nexus 4 that I can't do with my iPhone. Yes if toure very technical and want to faff you're better off with android. But for the average joe. It makes no difference.
I would like to give android another try but all the smaller android phones are IMO a side step to the iPhone 5 I currently have and I'm not prepared to pay for a phone unless it's an upgrade. I am contemplating the moto g because it would save me cash.
If I were you I'd go to an apple store and spent an hour with the phone. See if you like it.Sigless0 -

You really hate Apple products, don't you? What is your reason for feeling the need to come out with this same tired response every time someone asks about them?1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -
I have recently purchased iPhone 5C from PrePaymania.com. And I'm very happy with my phone.0
