Ovo still took money for 2 or 3 months after they'd switched me but I didn't notice as I was travelling. Their policy is not to give a refund even if you tell them they took too much and you are cancelling the DD - until you specifically ask them to. The way I got thru to them was to post my displeasure on their Facebook feed at the time they were patting themselves on the back and picking up lots of extra customers due to bad publicity for the big 6.
Theoretically they are supposed to be paying 3% on credit.0 -
You are wrong. Ovo do pick up the phone and will spend as long as you need with them as I found out when I lost my password. They will also help with dd's.0

This is where I am now.
After more phone calls they still have my money. Aparently I will have it all back in 4/5 days. I already have emails from December saying the same thing.
If I does not come back in 5 days I suppose the next step is the county court. I already contacted my MP.
It is outrageous they can keep taking money out of my account.0 -
