Right. How are we all doing????

So much gone on here - there's been Mother's Day, my mum's 70th birthday, Easter.....busy busy busy!!

Hope everyone managed to get at least some time to themselves over Easter? I had a lovely chill out day yesterday, did nothing except finish my book and plonk in front of Ben Hur (but that's the law on Easter Monday innit)

Easter has meant 'Eater' for me as I've happily stuffed my face with chocs, nibbles, all sorts of rubbish and I've loved every second of it.
Back on proper meal planning now!

I've managed to buy a new laptop - so say hello to it, everyone!! Makes things so much easier for uni.
Speaking of, had a major assessment last Saturday - had to plan and promote an event in Manchester and overall it went really well! Pleased and proud of self and can also see where I could've changed things and what I'd do differently next time. So, all good!

Financially - well, all of the above has cost a fair bit of course but I'm actually OK with that. I cut myself some slack and transferred a chunk of savings into my 'birthdays, holidays, Xmas' account and just got on with it. I was still careful but have had a lovely time. Has been good spending time with loved ones, especially as the weeks beforehand had been really rotten.

Thanks to all who've sent warm wishes last week during the Hillsborough anniversary, that's really meant a lot xx

Can you believe that, on the 25th anniversary of the disaster where 96 fans lost their lives, as things stand at the moment, Liverpool FC have played 25 games this season and have scored 96 goals???

How mad is that!! Life is so wonderfully strange xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Yay - you're back.

Glad the assessment has gone well although have just realised I have no idea what you are doing. What is it and sorry for the ignorance?

Sounds like the last week has been busy but hopefully good?

How well are Liverpool doing now??? Could this finally be the year. My darling brother and his friend have already booked to be in Liverpool for that final weekend - they dont have tickets just want to be in the city to celebrate.

Its good to have you back - the divas have missed you.:T

    take care xxx

  • Aw Mags - that's a really lovely post, thank you!
Sorry, I probably haven't mentioned what I'm studying! Its an MA in Music Industry studies. I know. Its bonkers. I love it though! Good decision for me to give it a go.

How are you doing, study wise? God its a hard time of year for it eh! My mate is doing a PGCE and is really feeling it at the mo.

Loving your brother's confidence in Liverpool!! Oh please please let us do it this year!! I can't watch any of the matches at the mo, I'm a complete bag of nerves and want it all to be over. Hope they do it so your brother has a great weekend!!

  • Oooooh PS just watched Luther on Alibi. Completely missed it went it was on the Beeb which is insane as I am in love with Idris Elba and would very much like him to love me too, please. So if any of you Divas see him when you're out and about could you let him know?

    I thank you xxxxxxxxxxxx
