Whoops, and I forgot to say that a floor plan is useless unless it also gives room sizes!0

What would be useful is if all particulars were kept for historic reference and X matched to sold price, so you build up a proper history of a place.
If done for all new builds with Xref to all the properties of the same type on the build, there would be very good comparative data to work from.
For the older props it would need co operation to build up the relevant Xref information so from a list of addresses and sold info you can filter all the same property type.0 -

I'd certainly like to filter on whether there is a garage.
not exactly what your looking for but Zoopla have a parking/garage filter amongst others.0 -
I agree a floor plan should be mandatory. Would also be useful for me to filter on single level properties. The filter on "bungalows" also brings up chalet bungalows which are no good to us as we need single level living.
Also agree being able to filter with a garage would be handy.
I agree, you seem to get more chalets than 'proper' bungalows.0 -
Indeed. My Nephew is a trainee estate agent, and he told me that NOBODY cares how big the garage is. I would eel slap him for that lazy attitude. :eek:0 -
The feature I would like to see implemented to all the property sites is a "don't show me this property again" tick box.0

I agree that a floorplan should be mandatory including the size of the rooms. i really detest looking up a property only to find it has no floorplan.
How is someone supposed to know if the property is suitable without one?0 -
Agree on wishing shared places didn't come up when asked not to, same with studios when searching for 1 beds, grrr.0

Also, floor plan should be mandatory. Many houses I have seen and hated the layout. Had the layout been available I wouldn't have even viewed the house!
This annoys me so much that now we are selling our house, I went with the only agent that offered a floorplan as standard, and didn't try to charge us £300 extra for the privilege.
I too would like to be able to filter on the area of the house. Especially looking in London I see so many apparently 3-bed flats that turn out to be one bed flats with a small lounge and small dining room!
I definitely would like a filter for ex-LA houses and flats.0
