One of my spouses has one because of deafness, and says their spouse is as much use as a chocolate teapot when they travel together: can't hear announcements either.

i thought she was a mormon ....
would be in reverse though.
mormon men can have more than one wife, but the wives only have one husband.....
y auppoaw 2 females are always more productibe than 1/2 a dozen men though0 -
She'll need the railcard to purchase a discounted ticket.
Not true. She can purchase a ticket online without the card but would be expected to produce the card at inspection on the train. As the OP would already be on the train at this point it wouldn't be a problem.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

k always buy my tickets online and it states that you must carry your railcard and produce it if asked.
ive never been asjed for it
Of course you do, whether asked to show it is irrelevant as long as it's valid. Not sure why you would think otherwise.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Sorry again to disappoint you all, no cults are involved. Getting back on topic ...~Chameleon~ wrote: »Not true. Are we talking about buying two separate disabled tickets, independently, btw? I'm not sure if that would be 'visible' on the tickets (I'm sure it would on close inspection): when I buy two tix they both say they are 'DSB', but equally you can surely see they were both bought at the same time and in the same place and in the same way.Signature removed for peace of mind0
