Sorry for not coming back last night (got soaked and frozen coming back from the hospital, then had to venture out to station to get DD2 on a train to get to a 21st in Derby) - by the time I sat down to eat last night it was 7.30pm. by the time I'd thawed out it was bedtime!
If my cousin hasn't got the BRAC1 and BRAC2 genes then I think I'm in the clear. I will contact her later just to double check. By way of being careful, though, I will now be having mammograms every 18 months. Which is fine - and eminently sensible.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Hope you get good news from your cousin CY.
I've been AWOL and the house needs some love. I overdid it in DS1's room and have been a very lazy flylady.
Dry January ended last night and we went to the pub with friends to kick off my birthday celebrations. Great fun but it was heaving and we waited 40 minutes to get served at the bar. The music was too loud and somebody bumped into me showering me with their drink.
Plan today is to make a nice dinner tonight and go for a walk. It's actually stopped raining!!!!!!!!0 -
Morning all
I have washing on the line.

Taking it easy today, tomorrow we're tackling DD's bedroom. She has 8 boxes of toys, and another of craft stuff, most of which she's not touched in a good 18+ months. She also has 3 drawers full of papers and stationary so they might get done this evening when she gets home
Right now I need to get sorted to make a delivery to a customer and then head to the opticians. Since thats in Mr A, I'm going to try and have a look round the reduced stuff. It just depends on how busy the store is, there's a good chance I'll just come home again though. I can't stand the amount of trolley rage that happens at the weekend.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I really need a kick up the bum today. House needs it's weekly clean and all I have done as yet is put 1 load of washing in

Babes, at least that's one load of washing less...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

One bag of stuff taken to the charity shop (thinking of the not-so-distant future I usually donate to Age-UK:rotfl:)
Been to market for F&V
persuaded DD to go to New Look with her birthday gift cards all by herself while I nipped into card shop for sparklers and balloon then back up town to the restaurant to driop said balloon off then back down town to find DD (no phone; I have left it at work) then back up town again to car.
Turned corner into quaint Victorian street when I was parked (for free;)) and GOT BLOWN INTO ROAD as a car was coming round the corner:eek: managed to stay upright and therefore didn't end up under said car...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Afternoon all
Very windy here but no rain as expected so all he shirts dried on the line and another lot out there now. It is more cloudy so watching carefully.
Did a quick trip to Mr M as I had a few £3 off vouchers. Old couple in front of me were nearly at the £20 spend so I got them to put my butter through, gave them a voucher and then the cash for my butter. They seemed confused but grateful. Noticed Mr L £5 off a £40 spend on sun newspaper (never buy that but I might later 60p for £4.40 profit is not bad and I usually spend £30+ in there each week).
Going to do a HHC in the garage next as DS3 wants to be able to play snooker and darts when his friend's come for a sleepover later.
