Sunday evening was spent with the wife cutting my hair in the kitchen
Whilst drinking white wine and lemonade, then I had a shower and the wife cooked two pork chops with roast pots and veg.
We loaded the dishwasher then went for a riverside walk in the dark
    With a torch.
Dropped in to see my eldest son and his partner on the way back and had tea and a chat for about 40 mins.
Home to unload the dishwasher then the kettle went on and I settled down with a DVD of Phoenix nights and the wife bagged the ipad to do the ocado shopping and then played games.
Bed at about 10pm, No nookie (both nearly 60) and straight to sleep.
    Was a lovely Sunday.

Normally I'm sorting work clothes and gym kit, planning meals, and thinking about the work week ahead. I'm usually in bed by 9pm. It wouldn't occur to me to go out and actually do something because my mornings start really early. I unfortunately start going into work mode on Sunday afternoons, especially in winter - what Douglas Adams called The Long Dark Tea-time of the Soul.

Hmmm... once again, we were out listening to live music and didn't get home till 12.30am. A great night! (We're both well over 60)!

Last night was possibly the most relaxing Sunday evening I've had this year, actually most relaxing moment this year so far!

Laid in bed watching a movie, with a nice smelly candle lit, OH drifting off close to me.

Seeing as I've been ill and stressed since before Christmas, its the most laid back I've been in what seems like a very long time.
  • I went to bed as soon as I possibly could having been kept up every 2-3 hours through the night recently by 6 month old baby.
