I'm lying in bed playing my Nintendo 3DS and my OH is next to me reading his kindle
been like this since about 9, we spent the earlier half of the night catching up some tv. we don't have any children yet, I'm sure our Sunday evenings will change then

I LOVE Sunday evenings - we go out to live music events or occasionally a quiz and it rounds the week off nicely. We rarely get in before 11.30pm.
When we were younger and had family at home, obviously a Sunday evening was usually spent preparing for the week ahead (ironing etc)......but not any more - we're growing old disgracefully......!0 -

I know exactly what you mean. Its that feeling of "oh the weekend has gone and I havent had five minutes to myself - but there is still stuff to do"
Sunday night for me is about making sure homework is done, polishing shoes, making sandwiches, making plans and getting everything ready for the week.0 -
Depending on what time I finishes my bar shift so either 5 or 8 once I'm in I stick the washing on for what I need for the week at work on a quick wash (30 mins). Put my dinner on
I then have a nice hot bath and read until just before my food is ready then put my pj's on and curl up with my duvet and hot water bottle as it's cold at the moment.
At the moment on a Sunday I watch Call the midwife then Mr Selfridge followed by the three musketeers.
Just before I go to bed I stick my clothes in the tumble dryer for my housemate to turn off when he gets in then I read till I drop offFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
It usually just consists of watching tv (dancing on ice, family fortunes etc), and stuffing our faces with unsuitable food such as crisps and sweets! We try to eat healthier during the week, so the weekend is our pig out time.
If the weather is nice, we sometimes go for a walk, although this is usually in the afternoon, sometimes we go after tea. Yesterday, the weather was awful though.0 -

That's cool.
I used to love having pen pals. Have lost touch with them all now though.

Watching crap telly, sometimes with a glass or three of vino with my OH and cats. Perfect (if you manage to forget the fact it's work again the next day).

I rather look forward to Sunday nights to be honest - the only time of the week I can really say is mine. It is well known amongst my family and friends that I am not normally available on a Sunday past 6pm.
Sunday night is normally 'making myself presentable for the week' night. Armed with a glass or 2 of wine, I'll shower or bath depending on mood and then give myself all the necessary treatments for that week - from deep conditioning for hair to waxing my moustache and hairy chin... :rotfl:Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!!:eek:0 -
I'm with tea, I spend most of Sunday and especially Sunday evening in a deep gloom usually, panicking about Monday mornings. Last night I deliberately let myself fall asleep on the sofa at 9 o'clock just to escape the misery!
I really wish I could shake it as I'm not actually AT work and should appreciate the time I do have off!
I have banned alcohol from my Sundays as I tend to drink to cheer myself up and then, obviously, feel even worse come Monday!0
