Says she of the epic lists & AMAZING garden!...To clip it on or not to clip it on, that is the question...
Go on - CLIP IT - you know you want to!:heartsmil4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (23 AUG 2021)New projection - 14 YEARS 8 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 16 mths)Psst...I may have started a diary!0 -
Two votes ... its done! I'm off to do the banking now, before it shuts, so it'll be interesting to see what the end of day figure is2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Clip it on KC, you can always take it back off again later if you don't like what it says! :rotfl:
and :rotfl: at pippi being tired out - if I could do half of what you get up to in a day I'd be very pleased with myself (and in a heap on the floor from exhaustion, no doubt!)
Had a reasonably productive day considering... misty mysterious run this morning, then a potter round the charity shops, picked up my prescription, and, er, well, I haven't done a whole lot else since then
Oh, except discovered the MOT ran out last week   Fortunately discovered it at 4.50pm and managed to get it booked in first thing on Monday. Still
One day I'll get some kind of life admin management plan that works
Spends... 90p on a local paper (not had one for ages!), 99p on some body lotion in charity shop (my favourite smell, and there's often unwanted gift sets being sold), and £1 for a book which I confess I can't remember if I already had a copy of:rotfl: but it was originally £20 and I figured for £1 I can always pass it on
Going to stick me feet up in front of the tv now and crack on with a never-ending sewing project! :j :j0 -
Well,i certainly did stick my feet up - friday night and pretty much ALL day sat, watched 10 episodes of Kojak (i think, lost count after a while...)
popped to the library and paid £1.80 fine, and bought a few bits of fruit (and treats) - let's call it £5 in total...
Today been to the community allotment, brought home some broad beans :j and about 5 blackberries :rotfl:
Just been to meeting, got a lift there but had to get 2 buses back (£3.60!!) and spent £3 on yogurt and choc too0 -
Morning all :hello:
Lying in bed looking at the sunshine peeking through the skylight blinds and trying to make myself get up for a run before work...
So cozy in bed though! :rotfl: but I keep telling myself 'discipline is remembering what you REALLY want' - and while i temporarily think it would be lovely to have a lie in, what I REALLY want is to feel like i've done a good job of marathon training so I never have to do it again!!:rotfl:
Quick catch up...
Yesterday just spent on work travel, then slimming world in the evening. Got so sick of myself in relation to that lately - spent MONTHS in the same 3lbs, up and down, and finally decided to declare the bottom one of those 3 as my target - took me another couple of months tp get back to it , and then i promptly put on 9.5lbs and spent the last 2 months trying to get back into target range again
So last night i decided i was sick of looking back and needed to do something drastic... I could leave, but i know from past experience that leaving when i feel like this just makes me feel like a failure which leads to more grumpy eating...
So i've rejoined, got a new book, and will go back this morning to have a new members talk. Cost me £15 all in, pls £4 on cereal bars - but now i feel like i have a fresh start, like i've only got 7lbs to lose, which feels managable in a few short weeks :j
Ludicrous for an intelligent woman to be kidding her own brain like that - but i know myself well and i do like a fresh start!:rotfl:
anyway, it's done now!
Car also has MOT :j :j £90 including the test which is ACE :j :j we take it to a little garage who give it a check over and fix any little things then take it to the test centre which works nicely. Turns out my tyre WAS leaking the other week - it had a screw in it!
So, today's plan...
4 mile run
slimming world new member talk
work at home
town for talk on urban agriculture in the cathedral :j
will pop back later and update sig, not sure i've had a single NSD:rotfl:
0 -
Ok, sign updated to £194 spent and (and that's an approximate number because there were a few days in the middle where I lost track...)
:rotfl:
And 3 is a pitiful number of NSDs!!
SO...
Let's see were we're at for the rest of the week and try to squeeze in a few more NSDs and a bit less spending!
Today - working at home, going to a talk about urban agriculture in town later, so just bus home £1.70 (unless I decide to walk?! Possible NSD??)
Wed - in York, then going to meeting so that'll be another £1.70 on the bus as I won't have time to come home and get the car, plus small donation
Thurs - working at a friend's house in the morning, then I've booked on to a hula hoop class in the evening :rotfl: Fancied a bit of a change from all this running!! £4 (Actually I've already paid online for this so I'll add it into sig and maybe Thurs can be another NSD...)
Fri - off work, shortish long run (if that makes sense :rotfl: ) then we're spending the day ferrying crap from the cellar to the tip.... Might feel in need of evening treats...
Sat - no plans
Sun - allotment then afternoon birthday party so perhaps a cup of tea or two0 -
Crikey, I'm such a plonker sometimes!
Got £8.50 in my purse - was trying to see if that would last til next week - possibly not :rotfl:
Checked envelopes - nothing leftBUT I did realise we've not spent ANYTHING from the treats budget this month so that still has £50 in it :j :j
Also, bizarrely, found two cash bags - one with £100 in, one with £44.50... Both neatly folded and obviously put there deliberately - but what for?!
I have a feeling I was holding on to one for Mr Cheery (from CD sales, or gig tickets?!) but which one, and what's the other one?!
Oh dear... :rotfl:
Mind you, it's not a bad problem to have so I will quit complaining and get out the door on my run instead!
And NO MORE CASH FROM THE BANK THIS MONTH! :j0 -
Ooh, that sounds complicated! Funny, mind you, but complicated :rotfl: and as you say, its a nice problem to have :j
Enjoy the run :T2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Good luck on joining SW with 7lbs to lose. Hope it's a good one for you
Those cash bags sound complicated. Hope you work out what they are for. Would you have put money in a bag instead of an envelope? Assuming you do literally use envelopes for your cash?Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
I do literally use envelopes yes, with things written on them, which is why it threw me a bit :rotfl:
Sadly we've worked it out, and neither of them are mine :rotfl:0
