  • Oooh, Cheery - was your cheese aged in a cave near Wookey Hole? If it was, it may well have been the same cheese that graced our pizza on hols :D

I'm glad that there is cheese on this thread - better than the bare cheese board that is Pipster's pad........ :rotfl: [just joshing Pip's ;)]

    ...£1.35 special cheese...

I'm curious Cheery - what clasifies as 'special' cheese?:D

...can I offer a spare block of frozen paneer?...it was on special (rather than being 'special') :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

it was indeed Wookey Hole cheese Greying! :j :j Rather tasty it was too - had it with Orkney oatcakes :D

:hello: hi rtandon :hello: in my world 'special' cheese comes from the nice local cheese shop and is wrapped in nice paper, rather than 'normal' cheese, which is whatever is reduced in the discount shop :o :rotfl: but feel free to bring your paneer along, i don't think i've ever had it so i reckon that counts as special too :D

NSD for me yesterday :j :j :j just food from the food budget that Mr Cheery is in charge of :D

Today won't be NSD, conference all day but i'll need to get a taxi from there to dress rehearsal at the theatre :D :rotfl: :rotfl:

So, as predicted, not a NSD - spent £7.50 sittin in a traffic jam to get from my conference presentation to the dress rehearsal :D What fun! :D

Might have to do the same tomorrow

Left the conference early in the end yesterday and walked into town :j Goodness me I was exhausted though  SO nervous at the theatre I though I was actually going to be sick :o :rotfl:

But it went well and we all had a fabby time :j :j Went out for a couple of drinks afterwards though so a total of about £8 on drinks and (shared) taxi, not tooooo bad :)

And today... £2.50 on grabbing some lunch (I just could NOT be arsed making any when I got in slightly tipsy at midnight last night after being out for 16 hours!! ) Then £1.70 on bus home, not too bad. Used up voucher for free tea and cake :money: and a pal bought me an ice cream :j :D

Tomorrow... out and about for work, so travel all paid for, but another late night tonight and I'm utterly worn out so I think lunch might be bought... Tis true what they say about time and money. Although I'm not leaving super early in the morning so might be able to make something when I get up...

Anyway, back to being more sociable soon, I promise, just worn out between conferencing and being internationally famous showbiz theatre musician :D :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yep, no time at all to make lunch so grabbed an M&S salad and yogurt etc, so that's £5 on food today

I'd got into a good habit of preparing tomorrow's lunch in the evening, but with 3 days in a row of leaving house at 8, getting back at midnight, I just couldn't do it :o :rotfl:

Been home for a couple of hours tonight though :D :j Mind you, I'm so worn out I've done nothing but drink tea, eat toast and potter round the internet in that time :o :rotfl: But I needed a lazy evening after the week I've had, and I'm actually working tomorrow - on a FRIDAY! I never work on Fridays! :rotfl:

    Lunch provided tomorrow though :D :j :j :j

Might curl up and go to sleep now :o :rotfl:

I know, it was quite a shock to the system I tell you! :rotfl:

Not sure about giving Mr Cheery a run for his money :D I've never seen him looking quite so terrified before or during a gig :D :rotfl:

Been a right spendy fiend this week, unavoidable really as I've barely been near the house so have been making stuff when I can and eating out when I couldn't :o

    So, just trying to remember...

Fri 18th - at work, lunch provided but I did have chocolatey things on way home (£1), bought some food for tea (er, about £4 I think, oh dear!) then went to the theatre to see the show on the night I wasn't playing, so paid £15 for a ticket  (I did get some free and reduced price ones but had already used those getting people to come and see me! :D ) Got bus home £1.70 (although thinking about it, I would have got bus home from work anyway so this was just a few hours later - that can come from work travel budget :D )

Saturday... Got bus to town £1.70 then did matinee :D Mr Cheery bought me a cuppa, and I'd actually managed to eat lunch before I went and pack pasta and sauce to take with me for tea :j :j

It was the last night though so I did get some more chocolate £1 (going to have to start paying at slimming world again at this rate! ) and stayed out for a couple of G&Ts (£10    I must get less expensive tastes! :rotfl: ) and got a taxi home £7.50

    Goodness me!!

Today shouldn't be too bad although I'm out and about with no car so might pay £4 for a day bus ticket... Depends on the weather... Will need to get home later though which will be £3.40 on the bus so will be worth it probably.

Off back to bed to drink my tea and then I'll add all this up later  :rotfl:

goodness me, it's all going wrong!! :rotfl:

sunday... er.... actually all i spent on sunday was £7 on fruit and milk so i'm counting that as a NSD!! :j :j

yesterday i was at work, then slimming world - gah! Would you believe after all those months i got to target then managed to put 5lbs on in 4 weeks?! i've now been outside target zone for 2 weeks so had to pay £9.90 last night, plus £2 for a magazine :o then a load of fruit - again from food budget.
been at work today though so NSD :j :j

Going away for a few days tomorrow :D :j not cheap but budgeted for :money: Hotel £183 for 2 of us for 3 nights with breakfast, and we'll do picnic most of the time i think :j Exciting stuff :D

not added up for ages... dread to think...
