    Very easy to be foiled by a pesky NSD pippi!

    stupid phone won't let me read back on the bus so have no idea where i'm up to or if anyone else has replied, so sorry... :o

    yesterday, lots of work spends but the only thing out of my own pocket was £6 for a salad and a cuppa at the station - i could have claimed for it too but i was so tired i entirely forgot the receipt....

    hoping i already wrote monday's spends cos i now can't remember... :$ :rotfl:

    In the office today, have brought lunch so will just need a yogurt at the station (gah!).

    Very excited (well... kind of....) - there's a bus promotion on at work, so instead of £1.50 for a single trip, or £15 for the 20 trip ticket i usually buy, it's £20 for 40 trips! :j :j just 50p a trip, and since i only go to the office 1 or 2 days a week, those 40 trips should last me at least 3 months! :j :j

    shame they don't do a similar offer at the home end of thhe train journey - that bit's £1.50 a trip...

    Bargainous indeed! :j :j and with the lighter nights i may start cycling again which means my 40 trips might last til the autumn! :D :j

    Another nearly NSD here, just £1 for some yogurts but i really can't manage at work without them - we're all stocked up with reduced ones in the house now anyway :j

    Other than that, just work travel :)

    Old car getting picked up tomorrow FINALLY (although after last time i'll believe it when i see it :rotfl: )

    will chase roofer tomorrow too...

    Oh bleep, thats not good! I hate library fines, and I've paid more of them in the last six years or so, than I did all the rest of my adult life :eek:

    :rotfl: well I'm glad to have been of assistance Greying :D :rotfl: :rotfl: I only wish I could have the same effect on myself :rotfl:

    Sadly my brain seems to associate 'getting a library fine' with 'being a bad person' so I shall feel ever so guilty for a while :o until the next time :rotfl:

    Good news - the old car has gone! :j :j :j Darn pesky thing started first time - but then it has done ever since we decided to scrap it... Well, too late to change our minds now, it's on the back of a giant lorry heading to goodness knows where. I shall be watching the bank eagerly - paid £8 for a same day transfer so should have £135 coming our way for the savings fund :j :j :j

    Remembered at the last minute to rescue tax disc, and I'd already printed the refund form last week so that's all in an envelope ready to go - should get £40 back :j :j

    Also need to ring insurance company, but I couldn't face doing that this early in the morning :rotfl: Should get a few quid back from them too, although I imagine they'll take a giant admin fee for the inconvenience they've suffered, whatever that is.

    Other MSE stuff today:

    * ring roofer - where on earth IS he?? He only lives up the blithering road and I've been trying to get him here since the start of January! :eek: Pesky man - might ask him to recommend someone else if he can't do it himself :P
    * take library book back and pay fine :o (maybe - might leave that til tomorrow)
    * ring insurance
    * post tax refund letters

    Er, I think that's it. Slimming world tonight - usually go on a Monday but I haven't been home in time all week :eek:

    Hope you're all well and jolly :)

    Morning! Doesn't it make life difficult for a bit when a workman who said he'd do stuff just doesn't show up? I had an upholsterer do that - in the end, I asked him if he actually wanted the work, and he said no! I explained the consequences for me, of him not telling me that in the first place (and I *was* reasonable, honest :rotfl:), and he got it, he was quite sweet, actually.

    Hope SW goes well tonight :)
