We're still neck & neck on the NSD's Cheery!
This will be where you overtake I think though - I need a haircut (no, I REALLY NEED a haircut! :rotfl:) and I know MrEH's car will need diesel tomorrow too, so that will rule that one out (Unless I go to fuel up after I've picked him up, when he can do it - mwahahahaha!)
Good luck with the clothes-hunting - I checked over my summer shoes the other day and surprised myself with how many pairs I'd got, so no shoe shopping for ME this summer!

Well an epic FAIL on the NSD front for me!! :rotfl:
Bought a new pair of shoes - NOTHING like either of the ones I was looking for
:rotfl: Just £7.99 though. And a black cardi (which was on the list) for £6
Also paid library fine of £1.60 the other day and forgot to write it down
Um, what else?? £11 for an emergency haircut... I'm sure there was something else, will rifle through purse later for receipts!0 -

More because I got so sick of my fringe on Saturday that I lopped it myself
and I'm presenting at a national conference for work on Wedesday and figured I'd come across more professionally if I didn't look like a drunk toddler had cut it
:rotfl:
So yes - as haircuts go, it was pretty much an emergency :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Well done on the race Cheery :T It must have been hard in the hot weather - i find both hot weather and rain hard to run in - the rain because i can't see without my specs! so it is hard going - as you will know 'flat surfaces' aren't all that flat and i've really got to watch my footing
Yeah :T To cutting your own fringe - i have been known to do mine and yes it doesn't always turn out the way you think it should
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I can understand you getting it done professionally ready for a conference though - the thing of feeling groomed and presented is great for confidence - though i'm sure you've got bags of that
Well done on the weight loss :T I will be focused on this from the end of this week so if you have any tips that'd be fab
My Mr is treating me to having my hair done - and yes - it really has got that bad :eek: He has booked me in a very nice looking place but i don't think they do the shaved / patterned head thing i was after - maybe thats his cunning plan :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: But having considered my design as much as i love it the pattern and colouring would just take too much maintenance i.e cost too much so wouldn't be very MSE
Ooh and some new summer shoes :T Totally understand after i've had boots on all day - with socks on so they don't rub
phew! i was warm. Now i have bought a few summer shoes lately but they're not shoes, they're flip flops and i'm not allowed them in work and i can't just buy any slip on shoes as i have odd size feet - so 1 just slips off again!
Black cardigans - always needed - i love a cardi
I have no idea how you keep track of all your accounts - i remember years ago i had an account where you could have separately named savings pots - it was fab
Hope you can claim an NSD tomorrow

:hello: hi all
DDFW, lovely to see you
I'm not the one for dieting tips I'm afraid - it's taken me pretty much dead on an entire YEAR at slimming world to lose that stone and a half - and I've been within the same 3lbs and unable to shift any more for the last 6 months   That's all I've done, just that and running - which I think has very little effect other than limiting the amount of hours I can eat cake! :rotfl:
Gosh, I never took you for a shaved designed head type!
What were you planning on having done?? And what will you have done now?
I did indeed have another NSD today :j :j Number NINE this month, which considering I only made 8 in the whole of April isn't bad at all!! :j :j
Also remembered I sent £1.45 on a pen on Monday and didn't declare it
:rotfl: Must add to signature
And... just had final bill from BT - which declares that we are in credit by £63.76 :j :j :j :j So as soon as that hits the bank I shall add it to my long term savings pot which will increase my May figure nicely
:j :j 0 -
BRILLIANT on the BT credit Cheery - that'll be a nice little boost to the savings, won't it!
We're STILL neck & neck on the NSD's - how impressive are we?! :A

Will indeed EH! :j :j :j Wasn't expecting quite that much - we pay monthly but they bill every 3 months so I can never quite work out whether we're in front or behind
I could see we were in credit, but could also see there was another bill due so couldn't quite get my head round whether we'd have any left after that
:rotfl:
Anyway, turns out we did, so all good
No NSD for me here today so if you've had one you'll be beating me!
Mind you, I have only spent £1.35 on a 4-pack of sesame seed snaps (which I ate ALL of out of boredom on a very tedious train journey
:rotfl: ) Pleased I didn't use it as an excuse to get all spendy
That should be it for today! Going to meeting tonight but I shall take a small bit from my little envelope so that doesn't count

Poor sesame snaps to be snaffled so quickly.
I bought a cable today as a work spend so I'm thinking I'm in the clear but the day is far from over. And, I did buy some 'emergency' prawns as I'm feeling a bit down so a good chilli/prawn thing should sort me out.
Laughing at you lot on here.
Thank you for keeping the troups entertained.
I may indeed grow my hair like rapunzel - I have given it a wee snip but nothing too outrageous.
DFW - I have'nt made any patterns in it
