I emailed M&S head office about SS tills, and have got this reply:
"Thanks for contacting us about which stores have self service tills.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a full break down of which stores have these tills, however it is a large majority.
I'm sorry we are unable to help further."'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

Do you know for sure it is not your light fitting?Jelly_Biactol wrote: »For an average-sized framed oil painting of, say, 24" by 18", somewhere around £120 to £150 might be a good starting 'offer'. To me, that sounds like a realistic price that won't insult the artist, but not too much that you've way overvalued it. Always difficult to guesstimate, though:)
One consideration to bear in mind, is the frame. If it's a standard-type frame (the kind you could get done in a typical high street art supplies shop), then that's not usually an issue when estimating price. If it's been properly framed by hand, with hand-stained wood or a different material (I had one artwork framed using the moulding intended as a fireplace surround, for example, but fortunately I've got a mate who is a craft framer), then that could cost £100 just to have it framed.
I'm getting nervous about it again. Are London prices higher?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Hi all, I came to this site via another ( think it was bounty) parents forum.
And for ages didn't know how to use it for ages nothing made sense. Then started to understand bits. And bingo I'm still here today.
It enables me to find bargains, vouchers & sale things.
I sometimes eBay some things
As it helps out with costs as having a lot of kids.
It means I get to stay home with them be there for the plays n parents meetings.
Still worry about money sometimes.
Never judge any1 whether they want to buy a painting or an expensive handbag ( have a friend who buys mulberry at £600+) or holidays abroad. I'm lucky to holiday abrod once every 3 years with all my kids. It is fun.
Love the way the site is there for people as a group.
Was sad about people who I had never meet passing away.
Happy about new babies.
Have shared with a few friends who have joined since (also took them awhile to get it)
But if I go away feel like i may have missed loads n love a catch up.0
