Jelly is doing the Dance of Money-Saving Happiness (it's to the tune of the theme from the original Hawaii 5-0 series).

    M&S voucher shop today, £25.34 down to £4.98 - an 80% saving.:D
    MSreceipt_zps3393ad42.jpg
I got the Eat in for £10 meal deal, and three ready meals. For the veggies, the Chargrilled Veg & Pasta is a good one, as with a bottle of wine, a £2 starter and any sweet £2.99 or over, plus three of the ready meals, gives a total of just over £25, for maximum savings.

    But wait, there's more....:)
On a previous shop I bought a couple of the Count On Us 4-Cheese Ravioli, and wasn't impressed with the quality (lot of liquid in the sauce), so emailed head office, got a very nice email back asking me to return the packaging to one of their stores. Which I also did today.
(I think it must have been a faulty batch, as I checked the ravioli instore and that looked fine, and indeed I bought a couple.)
Instore staff very nice, and despite the fact that I told them I'd bought the ravioli as part of a 3-for-2 deal, they insisted that they refunded the original individual price. So I got a credit voucher for £4.98.

Which by an amazing coincidence is what I'd just paid for my shopping in the same store.
    Result? Free shopping.
    So, happy happy Jelly:rotfl:

Lol ur a star with these shops but am still happy with doing a meal deal and normal shopping and so r my family and 1 neighbour ( don't wan't the whole crescent knowing about this) but as the week goes on and my freezers fill up i will copy u ;)

The OH is due back soon and am about to buy a £10 bespoke voucher but have not tried it with the other 2 so is it worth me buying 1 ? ie can i use the 3 coupons together?

I'm getting nervous about it again. Are London prices higher?

    Deep breaths, silvercar:)

I've never bought artwork in London, but prices are probably higher. My guess would be about the same as the difference in, say, house prices or the cost of living. Consumer prices are around 10% higher, so let's use that figure.

As a first-timer I would stay away from the big-name art schools - the Slade, Royal College of Art, Central St Martin's, Goldsmith's - as those students probably already have been signed up by agents and galleries, and have wealthy collectors after their work; those are the kind of places that get mentioned on investment sites

I don't think they did this last year Bubbs but I seem to recall that there have been other occasions when there have been money off vouchers. I have a M&S credit card and collect loyalty points....it's only really worth it if you are shopping at M&S ...I use the bonus points vouchers wisely. At Christmas I had one worth £5 if I spent £5 on line. Some of them are a no brainer and well worth doing. I get about £15 back each quarter on average so intend to use them with the Greenredeem ones. It's only a matter if time before that gets pulled I think.
I agree TM, the only other time M&S have money off vouchers is if you get sent them thro' the post. I registered my dh for a credit card which is seldom used. He sometimes gets vouchers sent out for 10 or 20% off food for a few weeks.
  • Morning V, have you your contract to look at? Get in touch with your landlady asap and find out. I would have thought that it was entirely her responsibility though. X

:rotfl: brilliant, treasure hunt in rhos house :D

Sending hugs back to you hun, hope your on the mend soon x

    Thanks Mrs Stinkface.
Nothing in contract about paying the call out fee but we were sent an email about a change of policy last year. Basically if heating broken its her fault and she will refun. If something stupid like I had not got any gas (not topped up prepayment meter) or pilot light was out it would be deemed my fault so I would pay charge.
Anyway she emailed be back to state that if heating broken she will refund straight away. I spoke to plumber last night and he says there is most likely a water leak somewhere. He appeared to know not my fault after I explained situation to him. He was very nice and put my mind at ease as my landlady was the one in newspapers and on telly in the last few weeks.
Fingers crossed plumber will be here tomorrow, report what needs doing to landlady and get go ahead straight away.
