Sorry if it's a bit late (work gets in the way :()
Yesterday they scanned at 50p on the hand scanners for me but went through the till as 1p, worth trying 1 pack possibly? (you can always change your mind ;))

thanks I went through the SS last night and they were 50p but bought them anyway ate 1/2 bag on my way home and rest this morning but thought if i could get them for 1p there would be less calories :rotfl: might try another bag later as i have to go to town, they had a full strip with no price on it

Sad dad, i somehow missed this post.:o really sad. Is your wife wanting to try again so she can "move on" mentally? Nothing will take away from your previous child but maybe she wants to concentrate on moving forward. Perhaps it affected you more than you realise :A

Thanks Tigerwhite and sorry to hear about your friend's loss too.

I'm not sure if it's to move on or not, she was desperate for another baby and still is but we're both in our forties, we have 3 kids already and it would be difficult financially if another baby comes along.

I think I'm okay, my wife has been having counselling for the past few months. Apparently at the sessions they do discuss me and the counsellor has taken a keen interest in my shopping habits. So either she is worried about my mental welfare or wants to know about the bargains I've been getting.

This is so funny, not the counselling the counsellor.
Of course they think you're unhinged now, as like someone said earlier .......other people just don't get it.
I find this reaction all of the time, once they really understand they are quite envious but still don't really get it.
Hugs to your family and keep on at it, you know it makes sense x
