with this type of thing I approach them before scanning the item so that they can remove it, keep them away from the screen at all costs
You never know whether some things with tags will ask for store approval before you can pay so I make sure I scan the 1p things first and then buy enough items for the 1p stuff to disappear off the main screen. Think it's 8 things which was easy for me today with other 10p stuff still hanging around in my store at the moment.
If you are lucky and it let's you finish and pay before the tag needs to be removed just leave you stuff where it is with receipt in hand and say that xxxx needs to have security tag taken off, I have never been asked to look at receipt for proof as at that point the SS till would have been shouting if anything was there that should not have been. Does that make sense?0 -
Hust had my A delivery, sadly all Ariels were changed at £5.20 so had to reject them all.....have now been charge £50+ twice as the first order was cancelled by the store after I had left to collect it.
Will have to wait three working days for funds to go back into available so now money at all now.
Never mind can surely find a few 1p items ??0 -

Anyway, today I was lucky enough to find some of the Lindor Caramels. Again went thru' SS to check price. Went to car, straight back, took remaining 4 boxes.
Was too chicken to attempt to buy them but have hidden for when I go back later tonight. But feel like a watched woman:eek:
What does anyone else think?
i now have visions of everyone wandering round the supermakets looking for your stashed 4 boxes....a bit like a treasure hunt!!!!!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
This is it, the counsellor thinks I've had some kind of breakdown but I was enjoying glitches long before our loss.
I get the same reaction from family and friends so it's good to be amongst like minded people.
Anyway thanks for your thoughts everyone but I am definitely okay.
My so called "problem" is an ongoing battle here Sad_Dad.
But I have got used to the jokes at my expense, at family get togethers, my skin has grown thicker.
I have suffered from depression in the past and can assure you when I am not ok I don't go glitching, bargain hunting etc. I totally lose my mojo. So my shopping habits are the "normal" me.0 -

If anyone buys the star confetti for 1 p it flags up a warning :0One cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0
