Work related activity component

Hi what is the Work related activity component ? I have passed a esa tribunal and this is wrote on the letter I received from them.

What happens next ? Does the rate of esa stay the same ?

    Your ESA will go up and this will be back-dated to week 14 of your claim. You will also have to go to the job centre for work focused interviews which aim to help you get back into work. This link should help you.

    Thank you for the info,how often,do you know,about the job centre interview etc ? Is it fortnightly like the jsa signing ?

    No it isn't and differs for the individual and can last for up to an hour. It really depends on the advisor and how often they want to see you. My last appointments were three months apart.

    Was on contribution based before 2013 now income.

    That's great as you know that contribution based stops after one year if in WRAG.

    Sorry to hijack this thread, but does anyone know what happens if you're put in WRAG on appeal, 2 years after your contributions based ESA ends. My GP was happy to provide sick notes in the mean time, but ofcourse I only received the standard rate while receiving contributions based ESA...
    Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

    You will get NI credits only unless you are able to get income based. You will be entitled to back money for the WRAG premium from week 14 up till one year of your claim.

    As always many thanks to replies,just need to know some more information,the letter that i received from the tribunal do i need to send this on to the dwp myself and where do i send this to ? same place as medical notes ?
