They've switched it off - I was wondering why I was having problems logging in. That sorts out my dilemma for a while!!!

    Dear dooyoos,

the countdown has started! We are preparing ourselves for the big re-launch of dooyoo.co.uk. As we announced before, from now on it will not be possible to log in until we will give you the "start" sign again.

Our brilliant developers are giving full gas now to launch the new features for you a.s.a.p. Stay tuned, because we will announce the re-opening of our website as soon as we are about to go live. Prepare for great surprises and a magnificent new design!

    Your dooyooTeam

Hopefully it means they'll pause the countdown on your mile economum!

I had been planning to catch up on my review alerts this evening but maybe not now. Lets hope it's back up soon and more user friendly.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is the end of Dooyoo...!!!

If they had something in the pipeline I imagine they would've mentioned it before today. To just suddenly announce it and cut off your members in less than 8 hours is shoddy to be frank.

Once upon a time I needed Dooyoo to supplement my income, I'm glad that has changed to be frank!

I hope they do come back, better than before, but my past experience is that if they come back it'll be with lower payouts, higher redemption thresholds and even less staff/more rules...! I hope I am wrong..

Ugh, I hope they come back with all our points still intact. I was only at 7000 but I was gung-ho for getting to 20000 so I could get an Amazon voucher to buy one of those cute terramundi pots to lock my spare change away in (then I don't stare at it in the jar and calculate how much chocolate I could buy with it).

O boog-er I was at 42000 points and discussed with my husband last night that I should get vouchers to buy his Dad a vacuum cleaner rather than wait to 50 quid. Grrrr I'll be so annoyed. And I have a bunch of reviews on there that I dont have saved or published anywhere else.

It is the members part of the site that isn't accessible, you should be able to still search your username, the word Dooyoo etc on Google and find results xxx

I was close to a £20 and planning on working on it tomorrow - typical hey!

  • What a ridiculous way to do things! Like others on here, I was nearing a payout and was just pushing myself to get there. I would expect an email at the very least if a site I wrote for was going offline, not to have to learn about it through a completely separate forum!
