Some people have said that they initially had problems logging in and their customer service solution actually ended up letting them on to someone else's page!

In the last couple of hours, other people have listed: the guides have apparently been 'sacked' with not a word of thanks for years of unpaid work, various spelling errors, logging in problems, formatting issues...one person said that he could have written a better website when he was in college which basically sums up the whole mess. They seem to also be very selective in who they are responding to - one person has a visible response on the facebook page as she couldn't log in, but everyone else (and my email about the review posting issue) have been ignored.

Poor show, Dooyoo.

Well the layout so far on the home page and log in page is an improvement.

I've cashed out. We'll see....

God its ugly! Couldnt log in from the log in page I had bookmarked or the my dooyoo section - both were just informing me that I had my ID and password wrong, the forgotten password section doesnt work - "luckily" the log in area in the Community section does work.

How can I tell who read or rated my reviews? And where is the level information?

Very ugly indeed. Perhaps they haven't finished it yet as they haven't sent out any emails of it being re-launched. I've just found they've added a link to products to write your own review, however when I've tried to submit it it doesn't work. There also doesn't seem to be anywhere to view new reviews. Let's hope they resolve this all soon, or just go back to the last version...!

Also according to people posting on Facebook;

Reviews are now a maximum of 500 words (still minimum of 250). Can't agree with this, I write some pretty detailed reviews primarily because people want to know about my experiences.

'The site will now concentrate more on lifestyle, fashion, health and beauty' < This is coupled with people commenting on how the "Review" button on many things is now greyed out and DooYoo's response that "Please note that you are not able to write reviews on every category" (ended with a winky emote which really gets my back up). So I think it's safe to assume that book reviewers like me are no longer welcome.

Ciao is bloody difficult to make any money on nowadays but I might have to stick to it alone from now on

Editted to add - Just found one book that I "bookmarked" to review and I can at least get to the "post a review" bit although I haven't tried to actually post anything. This does seem to be the most badly tested launch in history though.

I think you must be right - at least I hope you are - surely this is work in progress? The formatting of reviews has gone haywire and how do you know who's rated your reviews?? It's as if they've launched a beta test site!

They've actually announced on Facebook that the website is back up! As if they are proud of it Dooyoo has probably just died a death!
