Thank you..... Oh and tip that I don't think has been covered.... If you are a mans man like my Dad, who came with me as support, leave your pen knife at home! Court security won't like you!0

I am in court in the 10th
just getting my stuff together a bit calmer today than i was yesterday.
Hi Skintoz,
I went BR in Jan. I was stressed out to hell about it - but the actual court day is very straightforward and not very stressy really. I have recently had my OR interview, which was more stressy, mostly because I had overstated my HMRC liability due to either my hearing or my accountants memory. Either way, I am moving forwards and getting on with things.
Good luck - thinking of you - advice would be to make sure all the info on your court forms is accurate!0 -

Gah! Noooooo quite the opposite. I had stupidly downloaded the old remission form but that was quickly rectified I then handed over all my carefully collated evidence, much of which I'd had signed as authentic etc.... And he pretty much said.... "Don't need that, don't need that.....don't need that....it will all show up on your bank statements!" I could have cried... But I laughed instead! I waited to see the judge for about 20 minutes and was in his office for less than two... He literally just wanted to check I'd received advice on the matter.
I do have one question they said it could be up to two weeks before the official receiver contacts me am I allowed to use my Barclays Bank account in the meantime?0 -
You should be able to use your Barclays account in the meantime - I was. They realise that you need to have an account for your everyday needs.0

It makes such a difference when you deal with people who are helpful and know what they are talking about!

:staradmin Hi Everyone and Welcome to the February’s 2014 Bankruptcy Club :staradmin
This club is for everyone who has gone or going through the process of Bankruptcy during February 2014. So please feel free to join and post.
Pop your name on here, the date that you went/are going Bankrupt. Then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your BR journey. That way you can all stick together, compare notes and be there to support each other during the different stages of your Bankruptcies.
Remember this is your board so keep posting :hello:
Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help and you are all welcome. Any important questions that need answering please still post them on the main board, as you will receive more advice and help.
~ Please do not include too much information as the IS (Insolvency Service) are known to frequent this forum and they may identify individual cases, so username and date only, thank you ~
