  • Finally it's Friday! :j:j:j

This week seems to have been the longest week and I'm sure it's because it's the first full week back at school. Although I had to check it was the first as the week's been so long I thought it was the second! lol

Have made another hefty PAD today and the balance is now around the £200 mark. I'm not updating properly until the interest has been added on for this month. However, seeing as at the beginning of Sept there was £547.62 outstanding I'm pretty chuffed already.

Nothing else to say so I'm off to do some work. Would rather a nap but that makes me feel old just saying it!

Have a great day everyone :) xx

  • Morning all

Had a bit of an overspend yesterday as took Littley out on a day trip that although the tickets were presents the buying of stuff there wasn't! Left a bit earlier than expected though so managed to get a lift home from my dad so saved the taxi fare which was great. Put that straight into the sealed tin when I got home.

I have £70 in vouchers that are burning a hole in my pocket but can't think what I want or need in any of the shops they're valid for. Have decided to put them towards Littley's Christmas present therefore only costing me £30 instead of £100. When I open the sealed pot I should hopefully have enough to cover everything else - I've been putting every spare pound, £2, 50p and any leftover notes that were already budgeted elsewhere in there so I'm hoping to have a nice sum. If there's anything left over I'll buy myself something nice for Christmas. I usually get myself a little something for Christmas as I think I deserve it after a hard year. Also, if it's something I want that's a bit pricey I don't want to just buy it or ask my folks for it so it's a nice treat. I'm not sure if it's you or me I'm trying to convince! Saying that I bought myself a drill for my birthday cuz that's how I roll! hahaha

Got an interesting email from cat2 on Friday saying they wanted me to call them in regards to my recent payments & their frequency. Needless to say I haven't called them. If they need to speak to me they can call or write explaining their issue. Until then I shall continue with my PADs as they are taking them. My latest statement has come in so I'm going to update the signature now. I'm quite chuffed with the total and should now have it cleared this month - I'll be literally bouncing around the house when I do not just as an emoji on here lol.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Not been on here in a while as been a busy bee. Have nearly paid off cat2 which is great but have since found out I have another debt that I thought was nearly gone. :( Am now updating the signature to reflect this and this will be the next one to clear.

Nothing else to say really except now trying to buy the kit list for Littley's trip. It's a rambling/rafting type trip which is fine as she loves that but Littley's a girly girl and has nothing that is suitable for getting soaked in - she doesn't have any trousers/jeans etc as only wears skirts or shorts & when it's cold puts tights on! It's more expense but there you go.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

  • It's nearly the end of September and I've just made my last payment to cat2 which has made my day! It was a store card at a store I really like and so I was always spending on it so the fact that it's actually gone has made my day.

I have also managed to put some money away into an emergency fund. I really want to have enough in there to cover 3 mortgage payments and have enough to cover nearly one so it's a start! I've been putting a little in each week for the last month or so and it's coming along nicely.

Nothing else for today so have a good day everyone :) xx

Hope you all had a good weekend. I spent most of mine coughing or clearing up Littley's sick caused by her coughing. She's all ok today though so at school - yay!

I've been in dialogue with the client that doesn't really pay and hopefully I'll be seeing some money soon. I've also got more work from them too. Not as much to do but still a good wedge when it comes in.

This will hopefully come in soon as my regular monthly income (ie the one that pays the mortgage) has decided for some reason to do our monthly payments quarterly and so there's a chance I won't get anything from them until January. Bl**dy helpful isn't it? If the other money comes in before hand that's great if not I've a little savings and will have to take a M&D loan to cover the mortgage. I know they won't mind and they know the money will be given back as soon as the invoice is paid but it's not the point. I'm going to be ahem age next year and so shouldn't be having to fall back on the folks just to pay my mortgage grrrrr.

This also means I'm stopping my PADs for a few months to ensure I have money to pay for stuff and will resume them when I get paid. Tbh this is the company that I don't know if we'll have after December anyway so who knows what will happen.

Anyways, have a cold and happy Monday! :) xx

That's so annoying. People want you to do the work but then want to pay when they feel like it.

I hope you both feel much better soon.

I know, all invoices have a 30 day payment term on them but it seems that not many big companies understand this. Saying that, last month my small company paid me a week late as she "didn't have enough money this week" which really annoyed me. Fortunately I had enough to pay my mortgage that time but some months I'm actually depending on her paying! Fingers crossed something will come soon, maybe even the outstanding March invoice!!! Have a great day :) xx
