Morning
Got my £3.70 from the old ISA into my account today and so have been wise and put it as a PAD towards Cat3. I was going to change my total on the signature each time but I never know what the interest is going to be so will wait until the new statement each month.
I've got a client that I don't really like doing the work for but it's a couple of 100 quid each month so it's good to tide me over until the big contracts pay but omg it's hard work trying to get the motivation on nice days like today! lol
So with a heavy heart I'm off to do that work today!
Have a nice day everyonexx

Well done sass - very impressed with your daily payments! It's really good to see the accounts paid off isn't it. I've previously paid off my m and s and little woods, and my tesco card which was originally £2000 and even 3 months ago was £700 is now in my sights. I need to pay £200 on Monday (payday) and its gone :j I've already bought myself one of those mini bottles of wine and my husband a can of g & t to celebrate lol!!! I'll be down to 3 then but big balance s:(.
For motivation for stuff I don't want to do ( for me it's overtime which means working a weekend in every 8) I always just think of what I'm doing it for. That for me is the family holidays. it may seem boring to know it's going on debts but then the quicker they are paid the more fun things you can do with your dd.
Keep calm and carry on as they say :T[STRIKE]Tesco 1 - £200[/STRIKE]. Tesco 2 - [STRIKE]£4350[/STRIKE]. £0 Barclaycard 1 - [STRIKE]£4375[/STRIKE]. £2600 Barclaycard 2 - [STRIKE]£7356[/STRIKE] £6272

Hey, thanks for stopping by.
It's great news about your debts, especially the Tesco card. I think you and your husband definitely deserve your drink!
This month's money has already been allocated to pay for the "free" Legoland tickets from the Sun. I say free because I've still got to pay petrol plus accommodation for the night before as we don't live that close. However I am still saving something so that's good. I've also just been given some vouchers that my dad's been collecting on his petrol so when I take Littley to see Minions next week we can have a cheap dinner afterwards - thanks dad!!
I've actually sat and done the work since I moaned about it on here earlier. In honesty it's not actually that hard or anything so I should just shut up and do it lol
Enjoy the rest of todayxx

Morning all
Early one today as I want to get on. I've got a little bit of work left to do for that dull job then that's done for the week. Because I've been uber organised I've nothing to do on my oldest client except send over a report (takes 5 mins literally!) and my biggest client I'm waiting on them to do their bit. All in all that means that theoretically by 9.30 at the latest I can stop work for the day and do a bit more in the garden - lovely
I've also made my PAD to Cat3 and before next month's interest that's already come down to below £300. Looking at the interest from last month I think it will still be under £300 when they add it so that's cool. It's silly but even though I made daily payments to my holiday fund throughout the last year I didn't even consider that I should continue to do that but to a debt. I shamelessly stole the idea from someone else on here!
Have a great day everyonexx

Morning everyone
Didn't do anything yesterday as was helping at Littley's school - again! I swear I'm up there so much atm I should get a pay cheque. :rotfl:
Today I've made another PAD to Cat3 and it's amazing to see the amount going down. By just putting the pennies in I've already paid twice the amount I normally would and I haven't really missed any of it.
I've also just found out I won some money at Littley's school fete which is great. It was put in her name though as the teacher was in a rush and knew her's and not mine so somehow she's won the money! It's £35 so I think I'll give her a tenner and shove the rest in the sealed tin which I'm using for Christmas. Seems a good deal to me.
Go heaps of extra work to do today seeing as I was out of the office for 2 days so off I must go!
Have a good day everyonexx

So, another PAD done today. Have to transfer £10.50 to Littley's account for her share of the winnings and that's about it.
I've closed my poorly performing ISA and have opened a new one that's a better interest rate. I'm looking at putting some money away each month and then NOT TOUCHING IT!!!!! That should be the goal anyway to ensure I get the best interest. I want to save it for a few years and then I can have a fund for sorting out the space upstairs so teenage Littley can have a bigger room.
Right, more work to do although it looks so lovely outside I wish I didn't have any! However, bills and debts dictate I must work.
Have a good day everyonexx

Hi sassychick
Well done on dumping the poorly paying ISA. It's so easy to let things ride isn't it. Planning ahead for teenage years. Perhaps a hidey hole for mum too.;)1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%

Congratulations on the winnings!! That must have been a lovely surprise.
Your daily payments are brilliant. The catalogue will be gone so much quicker.
Hope todays work isn't too dull, especially as it is such lovely weather. Not that the weather will matter much to me, Im about to go to work for 10 hours lol!!

Thanks guys
It's nice to have feedback on here and realise I am doing ok! I made another PAD today and feel like I'm winning the war on this cat. I was very proud of myself as they sent out one of their little catalogues this week and on the back page was something I probably would have bought before as it was so cute but I don't need it so I just binned the book - go me!! So theoretically I've just saved another £50!
My work's always quite boring tbh but it pays decent money so I can't complain. Plus it fits in nicely around my life so it's great. My mate says I have a "lifestyle business" as in I work to fit my lifestyle. When I think of it that way I can't complain. I mean how many places do you know that would let you come in an hour late just because you fancied a quick cuppa with your mum? Exactly! Mental stimulation is overrated anyway lol
So, with that in mind I better actually do some work haha. Have a great day everyonexx
