Afternoon everyone
What a lovely day of sunshine we're having! Hope it's nice wherever you all are.
Made the PAD to cat3 today, nearly at new statement time and I'm really looking forward to it - sad hey!? Lol
I've also received £100 vouchers that I got for changing my gas & leccy tariff. Can't argue with that at all. I'm doing the garden atm so will use the vouchers to get a few bits I wanted. Only thing better than a lovely garden is a free lovely garden!!
Not much else to say. Nanny's taken Littley to the river so I'm trying to get some more work done. Need to take an afternoon off this week as got yet another funeral to go toso really need to get on.
Have a lovely evening everyone!xx

Morning
Lovely day today so have lots I have to do but have got to go to a funeral instead. Mustn't grumble though as I'm sure my great aunt (who's funeral it is) would rather be doing other stuff too!
Trying not to spend to much atm as spending a whopping £300 on my garden this week!! It was all in my saved pot (for tax) but did my tax return and don't need to pay anything this year. All my payments from the new client have come in after the tax dates. Well I say all my payments, clearly I mean the one! When the next one eventually does come in I'll replace that straight away so there's some money already building up for 2015/16 as I know I'll have to pay some again then.
Having to pop to the shops to buy a pair of slip on pumps or sandals as I've only got flip flops, trainers or black boots and really don't want to have to wear those today! It's an expense I could do without but I know I'll probably wear them again.
Have a good day everyonexx

Afternoon!
So, today went a lot better than I imagined however it was so hot in the crem that it was unbearable. The pub we went to afterwards was slightly better but not that great. I ended up falling asleep at half 7 last night and slept through til 7 this morning so not sure if just everything catching up or even a bit of heat stroke in there? I was uncomfortably hot and I never get like that.
Today I have got my WTC letter in to tell me that they're reducing my payments by a whopping 3p a week! I'm sure the 2 letters, 7 sheets of paper, 2 envelopes, postage and man hours warranted the extra £1.56 they're saving each year! lol It's the same with the council. I had an 8 page letter last week to tell me I owed them a staggering 1pence!! I kid you not!
I've managed to save a £25 delivery charge on the materials I need for my garden by sweet talking my mum's gardener into collecting them for me. Just need to get him a case of beer and he's happy. Makes me extra happy that!
I've made another PAD today to cat3. I thought the new statement was due today but think it's Monday so that's annoying as I wanted to double check the balance with the interest put on.
I've also had a meeting with a different area of the new client who want me to do some more work so hopefully that will come through. Even if I only have another project with them I'll have cleared a big chunk of my debts, got the garden sorted and had a few other bits and bobs so that's all good.
Have a good day everyonexx

Morning everyone
What a weekend! I spent it building a new seating area in my garden which meant I spent a ridiculous amount of time in the sweltering heat on Saturday and an equally ridiculous amount of time in the teaming rain on Sunday! However the main structure is finished and it looks fab. I just need to get the patio, grass, tarting up bits done now! I got the timber from a timber yard so only paid trade, gave a friend some beer to pick it up so saved on delivery costs. Bought the remaining bits on offer and had a friend come help me as a birthday present. Also had my nephew and Littley help out and omg they did so much!! I gave them both some money to say thank you which neither of them wanted (which I thought was nice) but both were appreciative. My nephew enjoyed himself so much he came back the next day and is coming over during the week to help lay the patio! What would have cost me about £1200-£1400 actually cost me £390 so I'm very very pleased! I do have a few more bits to buy but I already have the slabs elsewhere so saving on that and off cuts of wood to build other bits and pieces. All in all a flippin good weekend!
I've already made my PAD today. The new statement has come in and it appears that thanks to the PADs made last month I've paid off an extra £60 from cat3 bringing the total down from £386.77 to £262.19!! :j:j This is amazing and not an amount I realised I had paid. Today I made my monthly minimum PLUS my PAD so anything from today is an overpayment this month. It's all coming along lovely.
Have a good day everyoneXx

Thanks guys
I've just realised I'm down to £700 on cc2 so when the interest has been added & paid I'll get the limit reduced to £700 to avoid that temptation. Tbh I considered using it today as I've a few bits I need to get and not got the full cash atm. However I really didn't want to and resigned myself to waiting, only to remember I've got £100 vouchers I can use thanks to a nifty electricity deal I recently got so I'll use those instead.
Now going to chop wood which is exhausting, especially when I'm already exhausted! Would rather have a nap but no time!
Enjoy the weather everyonexx

Morning all
So dressing for a sunny warm day doesn't actually mean you'll get one! Currently sitting here freezing thinking I should put more clothes on lol. It would have been ok if it hadn't have rained - poor flip flopped feet are freezing!
So, yesterday I was very proud of myself as I didn't actually get anything so have saved my vouchers for another day. This sounds way better than it is as I actually forgot my list so didn't want to go shopping and get things not needed
Made another PAD today. I've already cut the finished date of cat3 by a month which means at least £18 of interest saved - love it!
Now trying to muster up some energy to make a cuppa tea and brekkie. The kitchen seems so far away today!
Have a good day everyonexx
