  • By all accounts this and similar sites are making 2,000 rip-offs per hour. Probably accounts for the UK uplift in commercial activity which the Government hoped was the vaunted upturn.

    I'm (probably well past) middle aged, and could possibly be classed as middle class (based on definition) and I've been working with computers - mainframes and PCs - since 1982.
    And was in at the beginning of LANs, WANs and wireless networks.

    I think anyone should take care when using the internet, especially when they've got their debit/credit card clutched in their hand.

    It's not an age or class issue.
    It's quite often a 'I'm in too much of a hurry to read what's on the screen' issue.

    Lots of people caught out by these various companies seem to think they are 'computer savvy'.

    Yes it was late evening in a rush, did not read small print, site looked official. I am not middle class ,or middle aged.
