  • It's the real deal. My solicitor sent them a letter a few days ago, so if they don't sort it out it looks like court for me and Mighty Muggers :))

Did you need to post that 5 times?!?

Is that an actual email you sent Mighty Deals, or just a forum rant?

I'm hoping it's the latter because then you can send them a clear, concise email tomorrow without the emotion. Preferably without the potentially libellous comments!

Be aware though, that if you threaten legal action you really need to carry the threat through. No doubt some companies hear that all the time and it will be water off a ducks back until they receive the notification.

Also, you may want to delete your number from your post(s) as this is a public forum and you could end up getting a lot of junk calls/texts!

  • Hello all,

I cannot believe the amount of similar stories I am reading on here. I have been trying for months to get to speak to someone by phone and have logged several customer service tickets but to no avail. I purchased a few deals back in January when the had a cashback promotion on. There was a problem with the website meaning that what was taken from my account was different to what I had agreed to pay for each deal using the mighty deals cash that was supposed to be discounted. I contacted them within the 7 day period and notified of the problem when I saw my credit card transactions and have been in dispute. The vouchers were classed as expired so I could not redeem them and so I got no items or refund. I am now contemplating contacting the financial obmudsman to see what can be done as its been ongoing and I don't think they should be allowed to get away with dwindling money from folk! If anyone has contact details of someone who may be of help please let me know. Thank you
  • Hi,

I was having the same issues with MD, I got a voucher but the merchants site had nowhere to redeem it plus they wanted another postage fee, I asked for a refund from MD and got the much documented runaround, evpventually I just told their customer service that I was going to their office on Friday to "discuss" matters and would morning or afternoon suit, lo and behold I got my refund instantly.

    A shower of conning b******s!
  • We purchased a neck massager back in October but still have not received the goods even though the money has been taken. We have submitted a claim through mightily deals but still no answer

We emailed them "I have emailed previously about my order, money has been taken but I have still not received my goods. Please can you look into this as a matter of urgency before I consult legal action and take this further. The voucher has now expired but it was redeemed within the original time frame. I look forward to hearing from you with a resolution."

Still nothing and no links to the actual supplier on the deal, any ideas on how to contact mighty deals directly for a resolution as my dad still continues to suffer with his neck so we want the product or our money back...

This has been very stressful for my mother who ordered this...
  • I ordered a voucher to redeem for new iphone 6 on 17/11/2014 at price of 490.00 pounds which is big issue for me. I redeemed it on 18/11/2014. However, I still have not received it yet until now. In the terms and condition, I can see that it will take up to 10 days to delivery. However, it has been 19 days, there is nothing at all. I tried to contact via ticket system, I got initial response said that it will be delivered latest 02/12/2014. But I have not received it at all. The e-mails sent afterwards were ignore. If any body can help me with this please?

    Thanks

  • What on earth is going on with all the venom by new and relatively-new posters directed at "Mighty Deals"?! It's on the Praise, Vent and Warnings board as well...

All I can advise to those aggrieved is (as a previous poster suggested) be careful how you word your complaints. It's OK to be annoyed, but some of the language and references used are offensive and potentially libellous.

    PLEASE HELP!!

This has now gone on for 7 days & I have contacted Mighty deals 10 times, the only response I have had was an email saying the problem was resolved & it clearly isn't.
I paid £129 for the Pontins break on 2/6/15. Not only has payment been taken twice (as confirmed by my card provider) but I have still not received a voucher code. Pontins customer service have repeatedly held my dates but can't for much longer.
I need this resolved today, I need a response & some customer service.

One of those issues is easily resolved.

Speak again to your card issuer and insist that one of the charges be undone under their chargeback scheme.

It would be relatively easy to claim a chargeback on the second fee, but as you appear to still be holding out for Mighty Deals to provide the voucher, that might not be appropriate at this stage.

Have a read of MSE's Chargeback article.
