Mighty deals ignoring me

I'm a pensioner with chronic fibromyalgia so cannot get to shops much. Used mighty deals last year for many things and everything ok until December 2013. Ordered 3 items amounting to nearly £150. I haven't received the goods. Sent numerous emails, some ignored, others telling me conflicting information. Eventually telling me that I didn't redeem in time (although their website confirmed redemption) and won't get goods or refund. The mighty deals app won't work so can't submit a ticket through that. I'm getting nowhere and can't afford to lose this amount of money.
I've even sent email fao Neil Campbell but now not getting an answer. I used to work in customer services and would never have been able to treat customers like this. Stay clear of this company.

Again I've received another email that reads like a template letter as I doesn't correspond to the email I sent.

I also states problem resolved when it most definitely is not.

I contacted a merchant who uses mighty deals and told them my situation. They were very sympathetic and told me they'd contacted mighty deals and told them to ring me. Ofcourse as I expected, I didn't get a call from mighty deals. Sounds like they treat their merchants as bad as their customers.

    I know exactly how you feel, I had untold problems with them, but have pretty much got sorted!
    I dont know if it will help but try emailing (text removed by MSE Forum team) she is head of complaints and I found her very helpful.

    I have already been in touch with (text removed by MSE Forum team) as well as other people. I didn't find her helpful. I thought as head of complaints she would do a better job. Nobody is even getting back to me any more.

    The company is a joke. Looking at the forum you can see this company has been getting serious complaints for years. Wish I'd looked before I started dealing with them.

    I'm ill at the moment but when I'm able to get out I intend to take this further.

    I can't check your account, without a valid email address. I 'think' I do know your account. My understanding was you didn't redeem your voucher and it expired after 30 days. We however offered you a refund in the form of Mighty Cash so you could go back on the site and purchase the item again.

    Can you please email customerfeedback@mightydeals.co.uk as without having your email address I am not 100% sure I am actually correct in my response.

    Been promised refund by Neil Campbell into mighty deals account but still waiting.

    I'm updating this as only fair that anybody interested knows the good and the bad.

    Eventually received refund as mighty cash and was promised additional £10 but didn't get that. Ordered products to use mighty cash. Still waiting for last 2 items. Hopefully will get them soon. Still not a lot of confidence in this company.

    Yet again having a problem with this company. Sent the following email but probably won't get a response.
    " I started this year in dispute with mighty deals which took weeks of blood, sweat and tears to resolve. I never expected to be in a similar situation again and so soon.

    I intended to have no more to do with your poor excuse for a company but the refund I finally got was given to me in mighty cash. I used this as soon as possible before it disappeared. Yet again an item failed to arrive. I emailed you but you didn't respond. Finally got an answer from company who are now processing a refund.

    I received an email from you about getting an iPad mini for £149. This was too good to be true, just had to share on Facebook. Another con I see. I share to give you more exposure but there was never going to be an ipad at this price. Oh well I got the consolation price of £5.00. Thought I would use this today with the £31.77 that was already in my mighty cash account and would expire today. However I found that the £31.77 has already been removed.

    Mighty deals is the worst company I've ever dealt with.

    Most of my emails do not get an answer. Will I get an answer to this one?
  • I too am having problems with MD. Having successfully bought lots of deals, I was disappointed not to receive my last two purchases. (A tablet and a steam cleaner). I have e-mailed, phoned, e-mailed the Helen contact as below, sent a recorded delivery letter. Just being ignored.
    Pity we have to resort to these forums before theres a chance of being heard, not giving up just yet, next plan is Facebook and Twitter unless Mr Campbell takes up the gauntlet!:mad:

  • Good day. Also, this company cheated us . Ordered the press , transfer money and no result. E-mail the company has closed. The numbers also do not exist. Fraud scheme has invented a system of certificates , which sets out the main can not confirm as if to complete the purchase . We , however, with great difficulty found the approval of the purchase option. However, the company also ignored this operation . The money is also accepted . Delivery to this company's principle is not provided . This option does not exist . From this it can be deduced that from the outset the intention to defraud customers. We have tried to write all of the email addresses . The result is not . At present, our lawyers working to make this company the prosecution . We recommend you also to all the victims that have been defrauded by this company , visit the nearest police station with the submission of fraud . We will call to account the following companies to protect our fellow citizens from these con man .
