I have spoke with many from EON, and also the director of the company with my heating system, seen as people are blaming the system, my concern is I used a high volume on KWH in November but didnt have the system Eon said after looking I should of been using £24 a week before the heating system and £29 after! But yet still don't under stand my point that I clearly make of "if thats the case" why am I using £70. I'll take £29 all week long.0

Why would EON comment on what your heating system should, or should not, use?
There are many factors that determine the cost of your heating/hot water.
A. Insulation of property
B. How long heating is on for each day
C. What temperature is it set at in various rooms.
D. How much hot water is used
E Outside temperature
I cannot believe E-ON or any other Utility company could, or would, comment of the expected consumption of your system.
All E-ON can tell you is that if you use xxkWh a day, you will pay £y a day.0 -
There's no secret to understanding the consumption. You need to take daily meter reads, and see what, if anything, makes a difference. Take the reads at the same time every day, and see how much energy you are actually using. (This will be 100% accurate, whereas the Prepayment payments may include debt, standing charge, etc. which will complicate things).
Personally, I would change over from Prepayment to monthly DD. You can still track your usage using meter readings. It also balances out the payments over the year, and should avoid big payments for the winter.0 -

We are not blaming your heating system, merely point out that it and your water heating are using most of your energy.
STOP quoting money, intead quote Kwh, read your meter daily follow Cardews and Horn of Plenties'advice. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
kids need it not to be cold, but 21 all day sounds high.
I'd set it to 17/18 to start with and see what that does...0
