Exactly, smarts for power theft will just be an hour or so more work to get around.

If they want to stop weed growers just have a team of people with thermal imaging cameras.

They do have the cameras in the helicopters, speaking to a lineman the other week who said they are reporting loads.

On a previous thread here that talked about meter fiddling someone pointed out you can buy your own meter to swap around off Ebay. What legitamate use are these, shouldn't something be done to take these off the market.

Yes Sailorsam , thats an imperative to stop this maverick Yank company doing what they like. Incredibly the government blue seals are available which facilitate the" shaving teeth off the cogs scam." He has surfaced now flogging these on a public auction site after years of selling them from a foreign website knowing that hes not going to get collared
