WM on its second spin, I'll get it hung on the airer and parked in front of the french doors in a minute as it's lovely and sunny again here today (Sorry piggers if I rubbed salt in the rainy wound yesterday, and apologies to anyone who's got it today!)
Kitchen all cleared and cleaned. Mixed up some zoflora in an old spray bottle and it smells greatVacuumed everywhere and mopped the kitchen and bathroom floors. Making a mental note to bin DSD's slipper socks when she's not looking as there was red fluff ALL over the carpets, in every room.
Bathroom S&S, our bedroom and LR both dusted. Time for a cuppa, I'd offer the coffee around but I have almost run out :eek:0 -
While cleaning the kitchen sink and work tops, I have just spotted 2 Robins in the garden, I have seen one for ages, it seems it now has a mate............Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I'm a perfectionist so take too long to so everything and get overwhelmed when there is too much, never knowing where to start, so think if I can get ideas for the day from here, it will take the decision making pressure off!
Hi Hossa! :wave: Another lurker. Excellent - except, don't just lurk - post! It makes a huge difference to you and the rest of us. I, too, am a perfectionist, and the end result was the house was a complete tip. Flying has helped me accept that I still notice all the grot, but I clean one thing/place at a time until it's reached the degrotted stage and move on. Sometimes just tidying is enough!
I have thrown in the towel - literally. They have been respun and are now tumbling because it has started raining AGAIN. Very shouty because I am so darned cross about it.
Any evidence of more critters, Bossy?Better is good enough.0 -
Hi all,
hope its ok for me to jump on board.
Love FlyLady (well any house related ideas) so would be great if I can join in.
Its 1.30pm now so I've pretty much covered the big things today.
Will attack my HotSpot though as I can see a few things creeping towards it!Sealed Pot Challenge - #462
I used the Thanks button as a Like button too0 -
I'm in too but at work at the moment so I'll start later.
Master bedromm was blitzed at the weekend and ironing basket is empty so it should be a gentle start for me this week :rotfl:10lb to lose & keep off in 20204.5lb/10lb:rotfl:0 -
Ooh thanks for the tips! Did you have to do the whole house then? I've searched said cupboard (contents on back patio
) and can't see a thing. But the spare pillows are manky <fling> and the duvet is about 30yrs old :eek: the rest will fit in the machine...
If the duvet is 30 years old it is probably mostly dust mite poo anyway
I did the whole house just to be on the safe side, but then again, I didn't have much carpet and it was good motivation for a spring clean...0 -
Hello everyone :wave:,
I would love to join in with the weekly challenges if there is room for one more.
I love de-cluttering and I always like to see my house clean so these challenges will be perfect for me.
Myself and my husband work full time and travel quite a bit to-from work so I need something like this to spur me on a little.
I cleaned the weekend so the main things listed are done:
* Changed bedding
* Washed and dried spare bedding
* Vacuumed everywhere
* Decluttered
* Dusted
I need to do yet more washing when I get in from work tonight but fingers crossed the bulk of everything is done.0 -
Bedsheets are in the wash, load number 2, cupboard is almost empty then to sort the contents.0

Hung out the washing in bright sunshine before lunch. Now it's clouded over and it's just hanging there. Guess I'll leave it for a while but there's no wind and no sun0
