    Morning!

Welcome Emily, just dive straight in, do what you can, forget the rest, it will still be there next time the room pops up on the list. I tend to set my kitchen timer for 15-20 min, it motivates me and its amazing how much you can get done in that short space of time!

Well, DD got up at 5.40  so we had a little cuddle and I put her back to bed. Both her and DS are still asleep it seems :T she was very happy to sleep in her new room and much more settled than I thought.

Uniforms are all out on the bannister - I'll give them another 20min then it'll be time for breakfast.

I need to squeeze in a quick trip for groceries today, somewhere...

    Have a good day, everyone!

As always the thread leaders are psychic!!

Yes, definitely - had a plan in the back of my head yesterday to do bed clothes today and look what happens!

Am out for about an hour in 30 mins, but then back until 5.30 pm so here's hoping for a lot to be done. Had a decent night's sleep, and (ATM) no aches and pains, so fingers crossed.

Hope to post later and that all goes well (or better) than last week.

    Morning all. :D

Finally got to bed at 2am but I'm feeling energetic today, this doesn't bode well as that means a mid-week energy crash where nothing gets done until the weekend usually follows. :o

So far this morning I've gathered up all the towels and put the first of 2 wash loads on, emptied all the bins (including the recycling although that doesn't get collected until next week), and chased DD to school with her bandage in her PE kit. I'm hoping they don't have them doing cross-country this morning that'll really irritate her ankle which is so much better!

My phone needs charging, and I'd like to get another wash load through the machine before I go out so I'm going to do a HHC at 8.30 of dailies, then some paid stuff while I watch online catch-up ;) You know that feeling you have when everything seems to be going really well and you're wondering when something is going to go wrong, well I have that today :o

Bed was done last night, ironing is now outsourced and was collected this morning... :D

Bossy - send any duvets you are worried about to the laundry to be washed and that should deal with any visitors. Anything that can't go on a very hot wash/TD to be cooked should be frozen for 24 hours. I had a moth infestation a few years ago (courtesy of a very small square of carpet from my grandparents' house) and everything (including curtains) was washed, dry-cleaned or frozen. I think I was still a regular on the thread at the time. The laundry bill was huge as all my work suits had to be dry-cleaned, but cheaper than replacing them all!
  • Thank you Dusty

Natty, did you peep at my landing after last weeks thread :rotfl: :o.
Just scoffing, then off to bed. Potentially only have Thursday night off this week and we're out for a meal. It's in the restaurant next to our corner shop though so a 2 minute stroll down there.
As I work from 7- 7:30, I may not manage to fit everything in this week, but I'll try my best.
Of to chuck some dishes in DW and clothes in WM. Can put away other clothes when I go up to bed.
