Pop to the shops and 3 newbies - arrive - excellent, welcome Hossa, Babes and 8OU

Narco same here with lack of birds. My t!t group is going strong and my fairies did visit for a couple of das. Redwings are in residence but in small numbers. Did get some starlings the other day and I never get those. I want snow.

Shopping is away so going to do HHFlying upstairs now as that is where the hoover has made it to and then make some gingerbread people and a start on dinner. The sun shining puts me in such a better mood.

    Welcome newbies

Back from the shops. Walked all the way to the furthest shop only to find they didn't have what I wanted in  Oh well, popped into Mr T and got some lunch and some yellow sticker treats for DD who will no doubt be in locust mode tonight. Popped into a couple of other shops on the way home, picking up some ramekin sized cheap plastic tubs for left overs, some snack bags which I'm hoping DD will like using more than the Bac0 ones, lots of grocery bits from h0mebargains, and then hit 2 charity shops resulting in 6 books coming home with me, then another bargain shop where I picked up some incense sticks (strawberry & cherry scent apparently) and a new extendible 'tickle stick' as DD has broken the one that was my late nannas and I can't fix it :(

Off to go collect some books from school now, then I need to pop into Mr A to pick up salad bits as I didn't want them getting bashed on my 5 mile round trip :D:D Will have a mooch at the yellow stickers while I'm there, and no doubt DD will be able to meet me there on her way home. Best shift myself, just noticed the time

Hello to all the new flyers, glad you can join the nuthouse :D

Any evidence of more critters, Bossy?

    Not a sausage!
I've stripped the bed and steamed the mattress both sides but definitely nothing crawling. The single duvet has been on a hot wash and double spin, and the quilted throw is in WM now. The sheets and duvet / pillow covers are next in line to the soapy throne!

I managed to sneak out for groceries at lunchtime and Mr S had some reduced duvets and mattress protectors. Got another single, as I now only have one spare but 2 beds if you count the trundle DD is using. Her new bed is coming on Friday :T (at 9 minutes past 1 apparently :rotfl:)

So, we have food and stuff to make up a clean bed. The pillows that I put outside this morning (on a plastic sheet) whilst the inspection was going on, are very damp! It hasn't rained here (yet)!

I think said critter was born in the (unused for 3yrs) electric blanket that was in the hamper. I emptied the hamper onto the bed, bagged up said blanket for the tip (cables looking dodgy) then hoovered and cleaned the hamper for DD to put her teds in. Thats the only thing I can think of. It did look very grubby.

Anyway, enough of my infestations! As you were! Lol.

Welcome newbies and bugs be gone. I remember a terrible bed bug infestation a friend bought round many years ago. I went into manic mode.
Back in from the shops now to get cupboard contents back in again. Have created loads of storage space this last week.

2 loads of washing done then I ran out of wash powder. Car gone for mot so I've decluttered £100 argh for that. Our bedding was changed. All downstairs hoovered and mopped, gone round whole house with window cleaner...hate that job. Hubby has changed water in a fishtank and decluttered a dead fish :( out of the first 3 we bought we have 1 left but loads of babies in their place lol. Have given the bathroom and downstairs loo a quick going over and done 2 school runs too. Worn out so tea and clean up and finalise my tesco shop for tomorrow then I'm done.

Lozzy get your butt in gear, it's only Monday, even I'm flying.

Washing on the maiden, not sure it is any drier than it was at 11 this morning when it went on the line.

Upstairs hoovered and tidied, making gingerbread men now and then I'll be bathroom cleaning.
