Interesting discussion...
when that poor little girl April was first missing, a primary school near me (not in Wales, I must add) asked all the children to wear pink "to support the search for April". It struck me as incredibly inappropriate at the time, and as events unfolded further, it became even more so. Why do people do this? I can't imagine how it could help in any way and I found it very worrying.
The fact is April's Mum and dad asked for pink and they got it. They have been the most dignified of any and so have their whole community.
Had I been asked to dress in pink, I would have refused. I don't go in for show.0 -

I suppose you'd have to try and explain that the man that did it was very ill in the head:(0 -

What is it with the Tesco flowers and their children's favorite teddy?
The looking eyes of the children trying to work out why mum looks upset in front of the cameras.....
I detest it all...Phoney grief was invented for Diana Spencers death and still practiced by many...It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
And as lovely a smell as there was (my friend said you could smell the flowers for miles) at Diana's death I would imagine she would turn in her grave at the millions spent on flowers when her landmines and other passionate to her charities could have benefited from the cause.0
