sky broadband keeps cutting off since september and no fix what can i do?

hi im really really sorry if this is in the wrong place my problem is..
i moved house in september i wanted to go with virgin but no one but sky can do my house for some reason.
ive been with them since and my broadband keeps going off its driving me crazy i was promised 5meg + when i joined so eventually with the problems they said i would be lucky to get 3 as my line cant even hold 5 tbh most days im barely hitting 2 which is a massive drop.
I run avon online, my boyfriend plays the xbox and i cant even refresh a page unless he gets killed on cod as it just goes that slow most of the time it cuts off completely sometimes its every 30 seconds sometimes its off for hours what can i do theyve done the line tests the booster tests replaced the front panel where you plug it in.. i know the hubs fine,and i feel like theyre fobbing me off i couldnt even ring them on the home phone as the lines bad on that so my mobile bill is huge im so stuck im agoraphobic (hence the online selling) and its my main communication. please help sorry this is a bit of a ramble ive had no sleep from a teething baby lol

If the phone line is noisy you are never going to get a good internet connection. Have you reported the noisy line and has anything been done to fix it by BT Openreach?

yep thats been fixed the supposedly before xmas but when the next guy came out he shown me it hadnt been changed and he done it in front of me thats been fixed now only last week tho again since september. i cant log in to that link

I had real problems some time back and it turned out that the phone lines had become water damaged and were causing issues so they had to be replaced.

Another time I had repeated issues and it turned out that a couple of wires in the exchange were touching from time to time, perhaps if they were moved.

As a result of that, I put in a "Plan B", and I now have Virgin and Sky BB!

Indeed assuming OP has BB and Talk then it costs nothing to call them.

it does its an 0844 number im going to have to just ring i think i just dont know what to say to get them to do something for once

yep im on my laptop i just cant seem to get in ive done every variation upper case lower case there a 0 or o cant tell which one so tried both sorry if my spelling off my babys teething ive had no sleep lol
