Hello
I have 600euro that I'd like to change back in Sterling Pounds, can anyone suggest best place with best rate for that?
Thanks0 -
I go to europe quite regularly so often buy euros from friends who have some leftover. We generally agree on an exchange rate mid way between the current buying and selling rates so we both benefit
Do you know anyone who's going on holiday who might want to take them off your hands?

Yes that could be an ideal option but unfortunately I don't have any friends travelling soon to Euro zones. Thanks anyway!0

Right... Here we go.
I have a Nationwide Current Account, which I opened for use when I'm travelling to get the best rate for foriegn currency.
I was told when I opened it that that I could only have a Cashcard and to wait 6 months, and then go in and I'd be upgraded to a Visa Debit.
Just been in to see them to get the upgrade and been told "Computer says no".
2 Questions:
Will I get the same rate if I use my Cashcard (Cirrus) Abroad to withdraw money as I would with the Visa Debit card?
Will I eventually be upgraded? I was told that I needed to use the account to get the card upgraded, and so I left £350 in there. Is that insufficiant?IF YOU LIKE MY POST PLEASE CLICK "THANK YOU!"

I always spend a great deal of time completing research to ensure I obtain the best possible rate of exchange for my travel money, I have found a company that seems to beat them all.

If you are in a position to buy your travel money well in advance you get great rates of exchange, I bought USD for use in April, I ordered these in November and got the rate of 2.14, this is great compared with todays rate.
Well worth a look if your funds allow.
For Euros delivered in 7 Days time they're rate is just under that of Thomas Exchange Global, but I can collect from them today!IF YOU LIKE MY POST PLEASE CLICK "THANK YOU!"

I have just taken out a nationwide credit card purely for use on holidays due to the fact that they dint charge for foreign transactions. What rate can i expect to get using this card? how much more than the tourist rate would this generally be?0

Generally about 5% better than the tourist rate, but it can vary.0 -

I walked past the local American Express Travel Services shop today and they are selling US$ at 1.923
Doesn't quite beat the top online places on rate alone but as it's a physical shop you can pay in cash and avoid bank charges.0
