What's this about threads being deleted? I think we'd all be gutted if our threads suddenly disappeared, as we put a lot of effort into them

madvix - thanks! Yep, I was astonished about the paint, its a good job I cancelled the cheapo stuff from Asda!

Goldie - Suffolk Lass drew my attention to the fact that quite a few threads had attracted a lot of spam, and the bot that looks after the forum automatically deleted the threads, and there was no way to retrieve them. I had a few a while ago, and I was in danger of it for a while, possibly.

Now, however ... it's the last year I actually *need* this diary. The probate's done, but the house is still to prepare and to sell. I need to finish off the building work in this house, sell the more expensive stuff on ebay etc. There are genuine mse things I need to focus on, as well as health and retirement and having fun :D:D so a new diary is appropriate for that as well

In that spirit, right now I'm trying to get to grips with the apps for extra SB points, and I feel extremely thick about it - I'll have to go onto the Old Style thread to sort it

I've been researching Norway ... I went there back in 1976, but just the two big cities, and this cruise hops in and out all over the northern villages and towns, it's amazing. And the ship has a rock climbing wall I think we're on the verge of doing it, but I want to be the one to make the booking, because I think there's SB points to be had :rotfl: and the Daily Wail is offering vouchers too, £100 off.

Big, big money spend! But my mum would be very happy at the idea of us using some of her money like this.

What a fab way to use some of the money - experiences are priceless. And Norway is fabulous too - we were there for a wedding a year or so back....stunning country.
