Glad you are felling a bit better KC.
I second the statement regarding badly behaved computers - drive me scatty both at work and at home.

Thanks MCI - the thing about computers is interesting, I'm so glad I mentioned it, and so glad you've responded - it does normalise the problem and normalise my grrrrr :rotfl:
Normalising is my buzz word this weekwith all the energy stress. My sister popped over to see me yesterday, we had a walk round about my local footpaths, and when I said I was tired and had to rest, she said she was too
not that I want her drained of energy or anything
but its nice to know that other people aren't hives of endless energy
Anyway, today, the top of *any* list has to be to call a heating engineer. Practically any heating engineer will do, as my boiler is currently ignoring me. Other than that, finishing transcribing the 76 diary, playing with the map of my route in the Greek islands, getting a nice big detailed map of the village I'm working on for the fiction, sawing cherry laurel, getting rid of laurel leaves at the front so the wood looks more attractive to the bonfire society, that sort of thingAll the things that a lady of leisure in her sixties is wont to do :rotfl:

Don't be so tough on yourself
My mum said in her late 40's and 50's she was knackered, she was so worried about retiring and becoming a doddery old lady but she found that post retirement (took a couple of years) she felt far fitter than the previous decades put together, it's only now (77) that she feels less fit again :T:TDebt Free Diary - Second Chances! And it does sound as if you are doing an awful lot......! Take care.Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Thank you both
Yep, I need to normalise, and not expect to work 12 hours a day
Nuff said ...
I did do rather a lot this morning :rotfl: and then did nothing at all, I promise, until about 5pm, when I trailed the heating engineer around the house. Pump was replaced 5 years ago by me, but I was never happy with it, and it sounds like it's gears are grinding  a dripping radiator will get a new valve, he'll service the boiler in the ordinary way, and bleed all the radiators. This is the guy from April, who didn't like charging me the call out fee for a tiny piece of work and added to the work by concreting in some drainage pipes properly, for the same money
And he can do these pieces of work that I really, really need done on Thursday :j:j:j he's a prince, I tell you :j:j:jSave2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: Very pleased to hear you've found a nice reliable plumber :j :j I've just been, er, ranting about that type of thing over on Greying's thread, oh dear
But I'm pleased all your little bits are getting fixed :j
Glad you're not overdoing it too much though. Must be hard getting used to where the balance lies now you don't have to save energy for work.0
