"Boris negotiated in Europe. I seem to remember last time he did a deal with the Germans, he came back with three nearly-new water cannon." - Theresa May

Now he's Foreign Secretary. Employed in that role by Theresa May.

    How does that work then?
I didn't find out till just now ... I was shocked, and looking at the worldwide feedback, shocked in the same way as everyone else on the planet :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry, I didn't word it very well:o. I didn't say I felt sorry for the Camerons (although I do actually so I'm obviously in a minority on here;)) but I was putting myself into their situation of having to clear everything out so quickly.

I realise that they had plenty of help but until a couple of days ago they expected the new leader's selection process to go on until September. They certainly didn't expect to have to up sticks in a couple of days:eek:. Their children still have another week before the end of their school terms. It's a big upheaval for children:(
Awww, CBC :kisses3: like Z has said, think about Dave humming to himself. I don't feel sorry for the adults in the least - I *do* feel sorry for the children a little, admittedly. The Daily Wail has its top headline about how cute the 5 year old is. And she is. But how does her 12 year old sister feel about that, or even her brother?

As for school - I doubt it's impacted their schooling, my sister work(ed) at a very high end public school, and the end of term was *last* week.

About Boris? For sure! My only hope is that he'll drop the I'm Stupid act and let his brain get going, like he does in his printed journalism, more or less.

    Morning again :)

Well, the *work* today will be lots better than yesterday, but the surrounding faff of yesterday may continue. Which I really hope it doesn't, but by the time I get to, say, 6pm, I can be fairly sure that I'm in the clear, and then, woo hoo, week 7 will be **over**. Really, I can't wait.

First piece of good-news-for-retirement. After our little Norfolk holibob, I'm heading back to my mum's, I've been too stressed to make that journey for a couple of years now. I've just booked the return, back to my house, for the end of September. Small booking fee, cancellation insurance, a journey that takes me right through the centre of London: £16.95 :j:j:j

It looks like he just clowns around when it doesn't make a difference. To be fair to him, London did OK with him as mayor.

Thanks folks - totally with you on the hand sanitiser, Z, absolutely :)

Unfortunately, week 7 is ending **horrendously** :( frankly I'm having a really bad day, and thats without the potential trouble from yesterday, which has plenty of time to rear its head today :( there don't have to be sessions for problems to throw themselves at me. It doesn't even have to be a weekday, actually, though at least *this* weekend I'm on a recycling tip run with my sister.

I hope things settle down and your day improves. Not long to go now. Travelling through London isn't that bad, if you keep your eyes peeled you can see some crazy things. 3 blokes dressed as Jedi walked past me in the station this morning.
