I bet you'll do it too. We've got great faith in your talent and determination, KC:A

It sounds as if you had a very satisfying day and had the opportunity to spend some well-deserved time on yourself and 'girly' things:T. There's more to life than mould and weeds;)
Aww, thank you CBC :kisses3: thats really kind.

Tho I have to say, today is a prime example of why my current life consists mostly of mould and weeds :( I feel absolutely dreadful, every organ in my body is going "twang, twang, ow" in synchrony. No way I can walk to the station to get my tickets printed out. And I couldn't do the last day thing on the mse cheap energy club either :( I'll try to do some of the packing, at least.

Hope you're feeling a little better now, after a hopefully relaxing day

  • Hope you have the energy for a relaxing bath maybe. Horrible when you ache with tiredness.

    Haircut sounds fab :)

I keep looking at your retirement date and it's so close now.

    Best wishes Tilly xx

Anyway, the haircutting has been done and I'm so relieved now that I took the plunge:j. All the colour has gone although I maybe went shorter than I initially intended in order to achieve it. Strangely, although it's grey/silver now I'm sure I look younger than I did when it was longer and light brown:rotfl:.
Seconded - my hair is silver/grey and I think I look much younger as well. When I first 'had it done', i.e. took the courage to let the dye grow out, I had quite a few people ask me where I had it done. Was nice to say I grew it myself :rotfl:.

KC glad you like your hair. I'm a bit concerned about you planning to dye it though even if you do a patch test - I know of at least one person who had a bad reaction even though their patch test was ok, and with your immune system and energy levels being so low I'd be worried it would happen to you :( Grey is the new black don'tcha know :)http://elitedaily.com/women/beauty/grey-hair-color-hottest-trend/848022/
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks all - Gally, thanks for the mention of dyeing problems even after a patch test. I've not been well, to be honest, so I haven't done the patch test, even - which means I'm definitely not doing the dyeing.

I spent most of the weekend in bed, and I feel horrible right now. My sister's driving down tomorrow to collect my train tickets from the station, I'm still going to try to get to the wedding. And once I start work, I'm okay as long as I can rest my head.

I won't be going to the funeral, as its on the Thursday. Just been speaking with a mutual friend who only found out the news in the funeral announcement :(

Wish I knew what was bleeping well going on on the planet at the moment, some of it is nice, like the wedding, but a lot more is bleeping awful. Sorry for the down .... suspending the diary for a week or so, corralling energy.

Good wishes to all! May the wind be ever at your back ....

  • Sending every positive vibe I can muster, KC. It's so sad to hear you're feeling ill and low at the moment especially as you were so upbeat and happy a few days ago. I really hope life will start being kinder to you asap.
