I remember those pens
I never actually used one, I'm very impressed when people do :j
I wouldn't say *all* the colours mean something, Cheery. The green definitely does. The black is terribly serious and thoughtfulthe red is, um, the opposite of what a bookkeeping entry would be :rotfl: there, I've run out :rotfl:
Been catching up on Graham Nortonand trying to do a few little things in the evening - even something little like refilling the glass jarss of dried beans from the packets is helpful, or starting to fill the dishwasher or opening the post. Anybody else get annoyed when financial firms pre-fill application forms for their products? To me, it's tailor-made for identity theft ....
Hey ho. Night night all :A:T2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Yay, Elephant, thanks
I'm also a tiny bit irritated at the mo with 123reg, its often impossible to log in to them - I've given up at the moment, and I only need to check an old domain name that should be expiring in mid-June - just want to check it expires, but can't even reset the password right now. A bit grrrr, but I know they're a bit hopeless on this.
I've got a long, two hour session today, when it will be difficult to rest my neck enough, so I mustn't spend too long sitting at the desk right now. So, two tasks this morning:
- check out Martin's Cheap Energy Club, I'm not on the very cheapest rate any more.
- buy wedding present - I looked at the list yesterday, and almost everything has gone!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Me Three!
I've started bringing my shredding into the office once a week as we get sooo many bits of junk mail with our personal information on it! The shredder at work is very satisfying as it disintegrates the paper!:D:D:D (Small things and all!;))4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)New projection - 14 YEARS 10 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 15 mths)Psst...I may have started a diary!0 -
Talking of wedding presents I saw the most fabulous idea (if the gift list is exhausted) in Canterbury last week. A china shop hand paints plates to order. Their wedding plates were fabulous and so unique. The commissions were more expensive but the standard plates were really reasonable.
The friend I was with got a bit carried away and is planning on commissioning a series of plates with her animals onMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Didn't do the Cheap Energy, couldn't face it, but at least I started another item on the list - making sure all the papers I need for the last tax year are all present and in order
Working at midday, better go! Hope everyone has a good'un

Just caught up! Sorry to hear about your friend.I love the coloured list, and the idea of doing 15 mins on each per day. I am getting a bit lost juggling everything, and I might just borrow this idea to get things moving again. Thanks!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I love all the talk about colour-coded lists. I don't get on wih spreadsheets (although I do them sometimes) but love my notebooks and pen and paper lists:j.
I'm going out today and will have a scout round for one of those multi-coloured pens I mentioned before;). If Wilko sell them I'll definitely be buying:rotfl:
Actually, I'm feeling very trepidatious this morning as I've made an appointment to have my hair cut at 10:eek:. This is such a big event for me as I've always had it long and am going for a really short cut this time. Well, definitely maybe! The coloured bit has grown a lot (I persisted with my plan of going naturally grey)and there's almost enough grey showing now to look reasonable if it's short. It's a really nice grey too, I'm very pleasantly surprised. Maybe a full Judi Dench would get rid of all the dyed bits but I'm just not brave enough:o. There's still time to wimp out of going and having anything done though. Decisions, decisions:eek:0 -
Good luck CBC - it'll grow back if you don't like it
I'm sure it'll be ace
I confess I'm a great one for coloured spreadsheets and tables at work tooI get laughed at by people sometimes with my coloured tables
but I'm far more organised than they are
Colouredy lists, in whatever form, are the best!
