Thank you greent, even though we'd lost touch to some degree, its still a sad thing, and I feel desperately sorry for her daughter.

Honestly, beanie - its sort of the same list as before - the garden, the house, financial admin and writing. The only difference is that financial research is separated out :D It seems to take longer to get up to speed with all that :o

I've realised the main thing isn't the list (except the colours :j) its doing a little bit more each day - even another 15 minutes, usually some time in the afternoon, would be great.

Last night, I had a *brilliant* sleep, makes such a difference, perfick. I'm starting work in an hour and a quarter, but I've made sure not to rush around too much even so, after that sleep I want to ease into the day :rotfl:

While wandering about the web, I finally finished scanning the 1976 diaries - I'll work on them after retirement, when I'm away from the house, a longish visit to my mum is planned fairly soon.

Had a result last night - I checked my banking balance in France and England, and its fine - I'd put off putting in my cheques I was actually concerned I might have gone overdrawn :o but I didn't. Now I've paid in my earnings, its all up to snuff again.

15 small items to be done in the next 8 days or so. some of which are very little, and the scanning I've just done was included in that list, so I'm on the way :)

Like the colour coding. Was thinking idly about peer to peer lending after reading Eds diary but I'm not sure I've the energy to research at the moment despite appalling rates on interest accounts
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Thanks MCI! I have a slight problem in that I don't want to do any of the other things that are on that list :o. I have:
    - finished scanning and
    - backed up (though there's always more to do, isn't there).

I think I might just pootle about on here for a bit, then do some gardening.

Sorry to hear about your friend KC. Doesn't matter if you'd lost touch, it's still someone you were once close to x

Love the lists :) I don't know anything about peer to peer lending although I did once read a Mr Money Mustache article on it :)
