And mine!!!!!!
I did get an Oracle survey invitation today though and, taking KCs advice to do these once in a while to gee them up a bit with paid survey offers, I did it and found it quite enjoyable (for a change):j

Ah, the pearls of wisdom I drip-feed to YouGov. Would I buy a Samsung Galaxy or a Tiddlypom Uberfletcher?
Mind you, here's a pearl of wisdom I found in my inbox today: I subscribe to Cooking on a Bootstrap, Jack Monroe's blog, and she says (also reported by the Telegraph and Huffington, so it's true) that the BBC is removing all the recipes from its website!!! Am hurrying off over there after an early tea, to rescue some recipes from the wreckage :eek:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
What's that all about then? Removing her recipes?

Sorry, MCI, that wasn't clear - nothing to do with Jack, its the BBC shutting down its own recipe section... part of the costcutting, it's said.
She's posted that she's collating all her own recipes, published in whatever source, including her books, and putting them on her website immediately, in the next 3 days or so.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Oh no! I use the bbc recipes quite a lot when trying to get inspiration
thanks for the warning KC

No problems, Elephant
I wouldn't have known myself, if not for Jack. I had a look over there properly, and they even have a skills section. I took note of as many garlic and rhubarb recipes as I could find that I liked the look of, and I'll do more of that this evening, I think.
Taking it easy today, another round of huge phone calls might be in the offing, though there's wedmin too - must, must, must get a hygienist-type appointment at the dentist. And get my hair cut :rotfl: I confess I just tie it back right now, and snip it myself, but wedding photos are around forever, its worth a hair cut
Got a few other bits and pieces to do, of course, we'll see.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Everytime you write "Wedmin" I have a chuckle!:D I'm aghast & tickled pink that the word even exists!!!
Good thing there is a chuckle to balance out the :eek::eek: at the thought of the BBC recipe section disappearing! - Surely there is a petition or something that we could sign?!?4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! That's a shame about the recipe section. Still got bbc good food though?
