My word ... MCI, you have a case!
I've just had the best two hours "work" ever :j:j:j
I've been setting up a Pinterest presence for my cat blog :rotfl: which has mostly entailed going through Pinterest pinning existing stuff to the boards I decided to create :rotfl: a bit more of that to do another day, plus quite a bit of behind the scenes stuff, appropriate descriptions and whatnot ... still, it was great :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Oh my ... and another win just now - my web connection went kaplooey, and I opened the Control Panel, pressed some buttons I hadn't seen before ... and fixed it
I'm quite shocked!
I've realised that one way to speed up bloggiting is to have every site connected to each blog on a flow chart each, with user names, passwords and whatnot, and the *type* of connection written in too. Otherwise, I'm forever faffing about. I've done it for the cat blog, listing Adsense in there too. I'm still unapproved for Adsense, but thats one of the things that'll be easier to fix now I've got everything in one place
Got my to-do list too, which is full of bitty things - and I wrote it in my diary while the lappie was still offlineso I'll write a ta-da list this afternoon. Got to work at midday, so better shift it.
Hope peeps are having a good Thursdaymy sister has snow! You never can tell.

We bought it in 1989, move it in december 1998, it lived in the cellar till march 1999, we moved it again in may 2001 (as you can see it's a very special rose to us)..........it is the most beautiful white iceberg grows to be about 6ft tall and 4ft wide every year

That sounds lovely, Sue, and very hardy.
I've needed some time out after my early afternoon work, but the slow cooker is on, the shredding has started (binmen tomorrow!), I've started to collect the nasty, nasty grass thats started to choke the blackcurrant plant - I'd had hardboard over the ground, as a mulchand hadn't managed to prune the bush, so the grass had grown like a creeper over the ground, to find somewhere to root  Another couple of sets of bramble roots gone, as well. Its astonishing this garden managed to grow anything at all, given how many weeds have been in there

Morning all!
Thanks SHSthere was a really hard frost out there this morning, but now its gone, and its almost warm in this sunshine :j I feel very lucky for that compared to the weather elsewhere
My head is rocking, though - I ate too many carbs yesterday, not enough veg, and my card is being marked for it - got to work at 1pm today, so I'm going to go out in the fresh air in a mo.
And today ... today is the end of WEEK 28 :j:j:j good lord - I thought I was still on week 29! Just shows you, if you don't keep your diary by your computer :rotfl:
So, a ta-da list:
- experimented with kefir culture, it went great! I'm going to experiment with water kefir though, not just milk.
- paid French accountant with the "direct debit" **finally** set up by the French bank.
- joined Nectar Canvass - I have a cc I get nectar points on, and I use them at the local Sainsbo, so this makes sense.
- lots of shredding, but my shredder is making a clunking sound  I think I put something plasticky in there, so spent a long time picking stuff out with tweezers  about to try again.
- brambles are the focus on the pruning still - most of the stems are gone, but I've a *lot* more roots to dig up. Then I have to kill the sedge, which is the most appalling, unpleasant plant in a tiny suburban garden, no matter how appropriate it is to reclaim marshland or whatever  garden is really opening out.
- reading all three Hunger Games novels this week:D:D yes thats work, there's a cat, y'know
And finally ... my witchhazel tree is in bloom :j:j:j I can't tell you how beautiful it looks :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

And to you, beanie - I've been sat down practically all afternoon, resting
feeling like getting up and about a little bit now though.
- the shredder, I sprayed it *quickly* with WD40, seems a lot less clunky - its got to be 15 years old, and I've never oiled it, so it seemed relevant
- made a massive effort to tidy the kitchen and living room for the weekend, looks a lot nicer to be in now. Warm and cosy too
- looking into vitamin supplements after chat with facebook/mse peep - D3 and K2 (not the mountain!).
- Ancestry have a free weekend. I wonder if there's anything left for me to find post-1837?
