I did once I had a think :rotfl: I'm horrendously literal, sorry:rotfl:
You would think it would be a robust build at that age.
What about bookshelves on the party walls?
I don't want bookshelves in the bedroom, to be honest - there's enough dust in there as it is, I'm not the best in the world at dusting, and in any case, I plan to have one normally big bookcase in the living room, one waist height one in the office, and thats that :j I want to be a lot more mobile, because my plans are fluid :j A few sound proofing panels will be worth it: http://www.diy.com/departments/gyproc-soundbloc-tapered-edge-plasterboard-l2400mm-w1200mm-t125mm/35771_BQ.prd
I've been doing lots of little things today, including digging up some bramble roots - the place is feeling a lot tidier, and with a lot more space to be able to *do* things, not just stuffed to the gills with Things That Might Come In Useful One Day. The huge bookcase currently in my living room is now one third empty, kitchen storage has been rationalised. I want all this stuff done before I retire, because once I *do* retire, I'll be visiting people or making new connections locally, doing creative work on the blogs and so on, or having the builders in for big stuff like replastering - can't do that while I've got clients, its too stressful, so doing all this sort of thing is using the time in the house really well, and freeing up my time when I'm newly retired :j:j:j
Going to have another listen to RT's song while I'm here2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Yesterday was a busy one for me! But good. A ta-da list is called for:
- two clients, which went well.
- started going through the 2009/10 accounts - most to be thrown out, some to be shredded.
- yet more tidying, plus some magazines that *might* go for really good prices on ebay - I don't mind magazines that sell for £10-£12, I just don't like the 99p stuff
- listened to a podcast on selling books - very interesting. I think the people who make a success of this do a lot less re-drafting than I doand this was a guy with over a million paid-for downloads and people who bought at least six of his books
- I got some sleep! My neighbours came in so late that even they didn't put the TV on, so apart from some door banging and plugs being plugged in etc, no noise :j:j:j
So, I need to make a list for today:
- phone session this afternoon.
- fill in the French banking form
- d/w and wash. mach. on, though its so cold nothing will dry outside.
- blogging, and get them posted.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

List update:
- phone session this afternoon.
- fill in the French banking form
filled in, scanned, and emailed off to them.
- d/w and wash. mach. on, though its so cold nothing will dry outside.
d/w finished, but I've missed my chance for the washing machine today, will start it up first thing tomorrow.
- blogging, and get them posted.
Ready to blog, but I need some time in the garden first, even ten minutes will do :j

filled 2 pedalbin bags with bramble pruning - I'm right at the back of the border, first time for about 3 years :j there's a lot to do, but I'm on the way.
I bloggited, too! Downloaded photos from camera, chose which ones to use, finished off the blog. Trying to speed up the posting by not inserting a note on where the photos are to be, so I can copy and paste the whole thing in one go, then faff about with photos.
Still got to do the cats, though - I know what I want to write, *shouldn't* take too long
Hope everyone has a good evening

Awwww! I couldn't do a diary type one - I do have a personal one, which I haven't updated for more than 18 months now, oops - but I don't want to just keep writing "I feel ill" "here are some photos from 20 years ago" ... the ones I write now are about what interests me now, so its easier.
Ten more minutes of Georgian history with Lucy Worsley, and orf to bed. Sleep well all

KC, just finished reading that ebook about PSK that you suggested a while back, a good solid (short) read. I will need to write a review.0
