You'll get there, Z - to use beanie's phrase, I've been plodding through - sometimes the plodding is the speed of light, sometimes its glacial, but it still happens eventually :)

Well, at midnight last night, I was standing on my bedroom chair closing the loft hatch  the wind had blown it off its seating again  when I eventually get builders in to do the replastering work thats needed, one of the jobs I may also ask them to do is put bolts around the loft - these gales seem to keep coming, and I really don't want the loft hatch travelling like that  It's all a bit strong again this morning, and I've got people in and out of the house during the forecast most-windy-time, so I'll have to be careful

Thats more or less the shape of the day - cleaning, client work. After a rest, I have to tackle Google Adsense - they've disapproved my application  saying the website (the cats one) has insufficient content! Which is mad. I have one post of less than 500 words, but most are 1000 words plus ... what I think *might* be the reason is that I changed where the experimental code was, and its not the right shape for that place. So I'll change that and see if I can contact somebody.

    Anybody got any other ideas?

I think the Adsense thing might also be because I don't refer to enough *products* I have a post that can be drafted about beautiful leather handbags, so I'll do that, and change the code (tomorrow) and see where that takes me.

Really cold after I'd finished work, but nice and toasty now :)

Did an Asda order: I was going to compare Sainsbo and Asda, but Sains don't do the cheaper feta any more, so s*d them :D I ordered a kilo of big size onions too, so I can play with my dehydrator again :j

Playing diary tetris at the moment - changing session dates and times for several at once is a mite confusing, but needs accuracy above all else :o

I've also been playing shelf tetris - I'd really love to get shut of the big lumpy bookcase in the living room, substitute with slimmer, full height bookcase and open up the kitchen in the meantime. So every so often I find free kindle books that mean I can throw away a 40 year old paperback :o or just put it in the charity shop bag anyway .... and then I have a go at fitting more books onto the one thats languishing in the kitchen currently. They're not going to fit, not yet ... but they will :D:D:D

I've been a bit dozy today - it doesn't suit me to have my first piece of work at 3pm - its on the phone, but even so, it just makes it difficult to settle to stuff. Mind you, as it drew closer, I accelerated to doing about four fiddly things at once :) - backing the lappie, preparing the slow cooker, unpacking the dishwasher, finishing off the pruning and the next to last lot of the table thats going.

Another reason I'm finding it difficult is that there's a letter I have to write - its a bit sensitive, so I have to be careful what I say. Nothing bad, just sensitive - and I'm really reluctant to start it. As a result, haven't done my Adsense stuff, grrr, but I *did* do a little bit more shelf tetris :):):)

You're right, beanie, absolutely - though at the moment I'm cosy in my armchair using mse and watching James May on iplayer :)

I'm glad you had help with yours - its so useful to have somebody else's input to things like that - I'm lucky that I could call on my sister if I needed to :)

Maybe I'll do that letter later this afternoon - I have my long session at midday, but nothing else till I check on my mum at 7 - I need to do more pruning, and I'm enjoying the shelf tetris at the moment :)

Your birthday is the week I retire, beanie? Excellent :):):) I don't have paid work booked for the rest of the week, so this is the end of week 29, as far as I'm concerned :o;) so this is cleaning, gardening, trying to fix the blogs and writing.

Long session done, but nothing else whatsoever :D except preparing to swish up a stuffing mix with some quorn chunks - that counts as cooking to me, folks :D

No clue what might be best for me to do over the rest of today, though I *did* find another book to say bye bye to - a reprint of a book published in 1926! I think not. Might mean that abe books will have some listings from me this weekend tho.

I know what to do now :coffee:
