Thanks honey
I was about to trek into town to buy frozen veggies at Iceland, which would've wiped me out for several hours, but checked at my Morrisons MyLocal, which have them, at twice the price. Worth it, in the flu season, to reclaim the recovery hours, so I didSpent the time in pratting about online, and a happy 45 mins talking to my sister, so that was a great decision
My weekend research project has been aloe vera for a few weeks now - I'm deffo convinced they're worth having as house plants, so today is the day I de-fungus them, get rid of the existing soil into the garden where the revolting stuff can die, and give them new soil :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Is it only 30 weeks already?
The time is going so quickly! :jEarly retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
It really is, isn't it! Week 29 starts tomorrow
two busy days face to face, and one phone session day
The aloe vera repotting went well, though I didn't lay things out well (or at all, to be truthful!) so a lot of places ended up really filthywith potting compost all over the floor. Predictable, though
Today, I had a looong lay in (till 8.30 :j:j:j ) and went for a walk under the blue sky before it started hailing down  changeable is definitely a word that springs to mind :eek:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

The hail was quite a surprise wasn't it!?!
Bright sunny skies - neighbours had their washing out on the line - we had just turned the bbq on & suddenly it was pelting down little hard bits of ice!
Their washing got soaked but we managed to cook the pizza and then out of nowhere it stopped!

I know I'm going to jinx it by saying this, but spring does seem to be on its way - crocuses are out, lots of them, even some daffodils. I can't wait.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
...And you cooked your pizza bbq in hail? ...
We are a bit weird across the pond - bbq's happen in blizzards (not even kidding!) - I'd have been disowned if i let a little bit of hail take me out!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
The neighbour was mighty upset though when they got home to sunny skies and soaked washing!:o:o:o
And:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j to spring arriving - will keep an eye out for spring flowers peaking out ... can't wait to see some purple!
Pretty windy out there atm - there is quite the noisy gust coming down the chimney and rain hitting the windows so hard that OH has turned the TV up to drown it out (no pun intended)...

RT - you star :j actually, my chimney is quite noisy too - but turning up the TV sound means its quite something
And I love the sound of rain on windows - the configuration of my porch, in relation to prevailing wotnots, means I don't get it very often here, but I do love it
Positive vibes, peeps - in spite of being snuffly as all get out, 29 weeks to go (and two of those are holiday), that counts as the home stretch :T

We shall find out in the next few days if that's enough, or if Feb 2016 is the month of the Ice Weasels... :rotfl:Positive vibes, peeps - in spite of being snuffly as all get out, 29 weeks to go (and two of those are holiday), that counts as the home stretch :T
It is the home stretch. Wish I was somewhere even close to that."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
